If you could have all your fingers replaced, what would you replace your fingers with?

My answer:

Left hand
Pinky- lighter
Ring finger- tiny vacuum
Middle finger- keeping for obvious reasons
Index- steak knife
Thumb- thumb of steel

Right hand
Thumb- thumb of steel
Index- spork
Middle finger- keeping
Opposite ring finger- hammer head 🔨
Pinky- Swiss Army knife

    Robotic fingers which are stronger, work better, are more flexible, and contain bunches of tiny little tools that come out as I need them. So the utility of being a swiss army knife while retaining the ability to type and to caress cuddlers.

    This reminds me of a work-hack I stumbled across a few years ago. I repair pinball machines and they have lots of screws, nuts, metal clips, and other hardware that is easy to lose. I started wearing work gloves and put a small magnet in the fingertip of the left middle finger. It works great for grabbing small metal parts, or grabbing screws from the magnetic screwdriver tip. I settled on middle finger after days of trying other configurations because you can still use the thumb and index finger to easily pull parts off the magnetic finger.

    Back to the original question. I think I'd like to have a laser pointer (not always active) in my left pinky - while still retaining the use of the finger. I'll give the other fingers some thought.

    I’m going to keep it simple:
    I want all of my finger tips replaced with little tiny hands. Where my fingernails now are will be the wrist for my new little hand for every finger. Then I’ll start doing little tiny crafts.

    @Katota I'll do you one better. Color-changing eyes. And even better than that, color-changing 20/20 eyes with zoom feature. low-light vision, and bright light filtering.

    I'd also like color-changing long straight (or wavy) hair. And replacement of any arthritic joints. And a few other body part replacements I won't get into here.
