Preparing myself for my first Escape Room this afternoon (with someone I've cuddled, but I suspect we'll be thinking more about escaping than cuddling).
I hope my brain is working ...
Heading home from work
Driving (as passenger) back to station reading cuddle comfort forums.
Just escaped from an Escape Room with 7 seconds to go.
i've been trying to write some for the last two hours lol writer's block.
Nice job, Respectful!
Cataloging my books.
There are a lot of them. I am simultaneously pleased and dismayed by this. I should have started keeping records earlier....
Like when I was five.
Having a wheel alignment done on my car. The waiting room is freezing, but at least they have magazines. Reading Time magazine '100 Most Influential People' issue.
Enjoying this community. grin
@DarrenWalker Whoa! That's a lot of books! Right now, I'm awake when I should be sleeping, reading this forum.
@DarrenWalker I love that book set up!
I'm watching This Is Us right now and wallowing after a rough break up a few days ago.
@crony: 700+, as it turns out. And 308 different authors! Now, I have thirty books by Terry Pratchett, which doesn't surprise me, but that the runner-up was Rick Riordan with twenty-three? I thought for sure I had more Brandon Sanderson than that, but no. Third place goes to Andre Norton (21). I have more 成田良悟 books (15) than Sanderson ones (9). I did not see that coming. I guess I borrow too much....
@Thellie: I have a nice, cozy chair in the opposite corner, too. I love it when I have time to just curl up there and read. I'm fortunate in apartments; mine is a good one!
Returning to the actual topic of the thread, I'm getting ready to do dishes.
@DarrenWalker I'm looking forward to having my own place again one day and getting to unpack all my boxes of books. I miss them.
Currently I'm watching the second to last episode of This is Us. I'm allowed to wallow about my break up through the end of the season, then i have to pick up and move forward. Doing my nails, too.
Trying to figure out which book I want to read next. Sci-fi, self-help, or a historical fiction set in WWII. Maybe the latter? OR the first one. Im in a good place right now so reading the self-help is exactly priority right now. Maybe the sci-fi?
I meant to type 'self-help ISNT a priority right now.'
Yeah, think Im gonna read the sci-fi.
@White_Knight My sleepy brain tried to combine those categories ... a self help science fiction book set in WW 2 ... :-p
so it's Hitchhiker's Guide meets Bridge Too Far?
@White_Knight You just gave me a laugh... "Hitchhiker's Guide meets Bridge Too Far?"
Thanks!
I'm doing wireframe design for some application processes that need to be modeled. woowhoo
Booke in for cuddle workshop in London this eve & just preparing nest to take along for touch time
I’m currently feeling exhausted but I’m still not done doing what I need to do for the day.
Playing with our 1-year-old black lab.
Belly full of fur babies
And another just because they are so damn cute
Bravo, @respectful !
I am having a few drinks and enjoying life people are tooooo wonderful on here!
Its 11:25 pm - debating whether I should read a bit or just call it a night
I guess I'm in a sombre mood because I've been reading obituaries. A lot of famous people have died just recently.
@pmvines I am freaking out at how cute your fur babies are!
@pmvines those fur babies are heaven!
I'm watching iZombie and snuggling with my Terrace.
