Wild , Crazy, Dreams

On occasion--there have been some members who have openly expressed concern for if I had a truly functioning brain. I understand their concern given some of the wild dreams I have had lately--like the one last night. I woke up because I thought I was surrounded by a group of cows licking my face! I have no idea why a group of cows would enter my dream or why they would be licking my face (although---I do like cows). Maybe because I taste like a saltbar?

They say dreams have meaning---looking for help interpreting my dream ----even more fun would be to learn if others would share their own wild, crazy dream stories and their potential meaning!---steve

@dennis22554 your dream is an easy one to interpret since I also have that same dream from time to time you are being called to be a farmer and the cows that are licking your face want to be milked

  • you--a complement I guess?

  • [Deleted User]MaverickLegend (deleted user)

@dennis22554 yes, I would say it’s a compliment because America doesn’t run on Dunkin. It runs on the hard-working men and women in our farming industry.

  • wow--i always though America ran on frosty doughnuts--than for enlightening me

@dennis22554 your welcome its what I do best

  • I think the cows licking your face means you're salty.

  • I assume we are the only two people on the planet
with c ray.... dreams..so it seems

  • Oh I never ever get to remember dreams I have except maybe once or twice a year. And that moment happened for me just a couple nights ago. But it was a nightmare.

I dreamt that I was at the spa I worked at going through the motions, but the spa for some reason was at a house. Then it switched to me and some girls on top of a regular dinner table that seemed to be floating in the middle of a kitchen. And I was getting dressed for some reason? Then, while I was mid-putting on pants, my cat Link went to the screen door, opened it and ran out. So I jumped off the floating kitchen table screaming for him to come back. He started running to the exit of the huge backyard of this random house. Around the same time my furry baby was heading to the open gate, a lynx came around the corner. I was screaming bloody murder at this point. My husband starting running to them and at that time, the lynx starting attacking my kitty, biting him in the butt.

And then I woke up yelling “NO!!!”

My husband came into the bedroom worried. I actually was screaming out loud. Oh, it was such a shitty nightmare. I cried and cried, while the hubby was consoling me. It truly felt like I lost my baby boy. Ironically, it was also Links 9th bday that day.

I've had terribly upsetting nightmares, too...one in particular about my dog's lower jaw breaking off, tongue and all. So horrible. I was out of state at the time, and called my boyfriend to make sure the dog was okay. 😟 Thank goodness, he was.

  • @SunsetSnuggles oh my god, that sounds horrible. I would cry for days if I woke up remembering that 😭😭😭

  • @Sheena123
It haunted me for weeks. Nightmares about real life are the worst. 🥺 I'd take a monster, any day.

I'm glad your handsome Link is okay!

  • I used to have dreams as a kid of being swallowed up in a bouncy house by an evil monster ----I hate scary dreams---thankfully I survived !

  • I have horrible nightmares at least once a week. Then I remember I have bills to pay, so I g to work anyway.

  • Marley Louise Von Franz- Great resource- I read her work many years ago-Quite enlightening.

In the end -no one can really interpret what is in your mind.- Only you can do that.

  • that's especially true for me----but I view it as a positive!
