I'm nervous because it will be my first session tomorrow

Hi there. I have a lot I want to talk about.
I'm a blind user of this site. I'm doing my first meet up with a pro tomorrow. Tomorrow morning! I'm honestly very nervous.
Due to my blindness, I don'j care about photos and stuff like that. Looks have been substituted for personallity, and voice.
Is it wrong for me to request a voice call or so before I meet with someone? I just want to talk to them beforehand so I can feel more at ease.
I'm not finding an option to call someone on this site, (I'm not sure why that is. I think it needs to be added.). What do I do? Should I give them my phone number? Is that how this works?
And what about my address? When should I give that out? I haven't yet. I'm not scared to, because I know it's what I have to do. It's not like I can drive and meet them somewhere, they have to come to me. I just don't know when I should give it to them? I'm probably going to send it now, just in case?
I'm just scared, it's my first time doing anything like this cuddle thing. I'm not even sure how to. I know I want to be held, but I'm learning that there are different ways to hold someone, and now I'm just confused? Maybe I'm reading into the situation too much? I don't know. I just need help figuring this all out.

  • For ppl interested in meeting yes we give out phone number contact n also address. There’s nothing wrong with requesting a voice call it makes more sense to do that.

  • Welcome! I hope you find exactly what you’re looking for here! It’s absolutely not wrong to request a voice call beforehand. In fact, explaining things the way you’ve done here can really help set expectations and make you feel more comfortable going into the session.

I believe you’ll need to confirm the booking first before you can exchange contact info off-site, so just hold off on sharing your address until you’re certain it’s a good fit.

Remember, you’re in control of this experience. Take things one step at a time, and don’t hesitate to make requests that help you feel more at ease. You’ve got this!

    1) There's nothing wrong with asking for a call ahead of time. I'm surprised the pro didn't ask for one.
    2) No, there is no option to call someone through the site. Send your address and number tonight, I would say, so they have time to contact you if something changes.
    3) It's completely normal to be nervous. I think everyone has been there and a good pro will understand.

  • I'm happy for you and I hope you get everything you need. Please ask for a call so you can get the comfort you need. If I may, I hope I'm not overstepping here... But I world recommend locking away your valuables (wallet and jewelry) since you won't be able to see if they take something. I'm sure your pro will be lovely and sweet but just to be sure. Good luck!

  • Yay, I’m glad you set an appointment! You are not alone in feeling nervous, it can feel awkward when you haven’t met the person you are going to cuddle with. I hope your pro is good at talking things slow with you and going at your pace, and also making you feel comfortable. It’s going to be a great experience, enjoy.

  • I dont have anything to add except emotional support; I am here cheering for you. Normally, I would insert some sort of gif, but knowing you, it probably wouldn't help. So just think of some sort of cheerleader with pom poms and you'll get the gif I would have chosen for you.

  • Making a voice call is definitely an acceptable thing to do here to vet someone, especially before giving them your address. I hope you have a wonderful session, just relax, and use communication to express what you like and don't like [some positions hurt if you stay in them for an extended period of time, other times things can tickle and if you don't like/want that sensation I am sure your pro will be happy to do something else]. Best of luck and welcome to the community. 😊 Hope to hear how it goes afterwards.

  • Circumstances as they are none of this is very good advice. You're welcome to message me tonight and I will talk to you immediately and vet your provider for you.

  • Healing, good luck this morning and I hope you have a great experience. I'm very happy you are following through on scheduling a session.

  • I wish you well today my friend.

  • May your cuddle time, be a good time! ❤️🫂

  • Good luck today! Please update us!

  • Enjoy your cuddles:)

  • Try your best to relax and enjoy, i can tell you from my experience the nervousness could curb your enjoyment. Even though i think nervousness is healthy to an extent it's a protective reflex. I assume you've had your conversations and feel comfortable try and trust your choice. And "May your cuddle time, be a good time!"

  • Hi @ReltvlyCanshes, did you change your profile name?

  • I was wondering the same thing @4cuddles @ReltvlyCanshes

  • Today’s the big day!! I’m super excited for you and I wish you the best :)

Not too much to add to what has already been said but I do hope it goes well and I hope you took @biancalovecraft ’s offer to pick her brain for how to vet. She has a lot of experience in the cuddle game, and as such we could all benefit from her knowledge. Good luck my man. You got this.

  • Just sending you warmth @HealingSystem. I hope you get what you need for comfort - you can always ask for what you would like to feel safe ahead of a session and throughout it. It makes total sense to want to have a conversation with them beforehand and hear their voice. I hope the pro you see is supportive of all this and helps guide you along the way. Let us know how it goes!

@4cuddles i did. Bashful started to sound a little inaccurate. @GuyverGordon

  • @ReltvlyCanshes ah I see. Ah I see, sounds like something shifted?

Not to hijack your thread further, how did it go @healingsystem?

I think I've just gotten a little more comfortable based on my activity in here. I think this name more encapsulates my personality, i would have used it from the beginning if I'd have put more thought in how to shorten it.

You can see where i got it from in the quote in my last picture. And it fits well with anther of my favorite quotes on how approach most issues. "injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere" Martin Luther King Jr.

@HealingSystem This is your first step into a world that can be very beneficial to you. I am hoping you enjoy your cuddle today and that you receive many more in the future.

  • I hope you have a fantastic experience! Happy cuddling. I am so excited for you.

  • @HealingSystem I’m extremely happy and excited for you. Can’t wait to hear how your session went. Hope you get to share with us when and if you feel comfortable doing so.

  • I'm super vested in this! How did it go?

  • For everyone asking how it went, I know many of us are truly invested and wishing him well, but let's take a step back for a minute...

This was his first experience and I'm sure it was a bit stressful and overwhelming for him. He may not want to discuss it publicly.

I am the professional that shared space with healing. For those worried about vetting the pro, feel free to review my profile and karma.
We were a wonderful fit, sharing a deep love of music and having several acquaintances in common.

I sense the bulk of vested interest comes from a space of kindness and empathy. I do not discuss specifics of sessions on public forum, as I find that to be inappropriate and invasive of boundaries I will say it was a 5/5 and Healing may share more at his comfort level.
Healing played the piano and sang with a beautiful, pitch perfect voice. I played music from several unique artists that Healing expressed a love of. It was a unique bonding.

We cuddled a few years ago and had a wonderful session!

I'm well vetted in cuddling diverse and alternately abled people.

I find the interest a beautiful extension of an amazing community. Thank you all for caring for this beautiful soul.

    Be Well
