  • Don't think I've ever watched all the Friday 13th movies so I'm starting with the first later tonight.

  • Well, it’s not necessarily a horror movie, but I just watched Anna Kendrick’s directorial debut Woman of the Hour.
I would encourage everyone to watch this movie.

Imo I’d classify it as a horror movie just because of how many missed opportunities were brought to LE and more orgs & that they kept a push to get heard and seen on a repetitive basis to report one of the world’s most notorious serial killer killers and their experiences with him.

    Crazy.

She did an amazing job with script, weaving the stories and lighting.

  • Can't wait for the new Nosferatu!

  • The best 70’s and 80’s horror films in no particular order
Halloween, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street,
Dawn of the Dead, The Thing, Alien, Demons, The Fog, The Exorcist, Jaws, Carrie, The Shining.

  • Though some don't consider it horror I watched Frailty the other week with someone who hadn't seen it and it still holds up as one of the best examples of suspense and plot twists in the genre

  • @pmvines frailty is awesome.

    Psychological horror maybe.

    @timbear50 same here.

Yeah, I put it in same category as 7 and Jaws. Not traditional horror, but certainly horrific

  • I looked all of them up and they're considered thrillers by IMDb. One of them is a psychological thriller one of them is a dark fantasy. A few of them mention serial killer as a descriptor.

Another similar movie that is considered a thriller, as well as Fallen with Denzel Washington.

Another good movie to watch that is a thriller is Momento
I seen the substance recently and that's a good campy horror movie. Some people walked out because it was can't be as well as a lot of gory blood.

It's interesting, I recently watched Jaws this summer, and it's not the same as it used to be watching it.

I also went with a friend to watch the movie Alien : Romulus. They used to be in an abusive relationship and couldn't handle horror, movies or movies with a lot of violence. They wanted to see this because they are no longer in the situation and their partner didn't want to see at all so IThey used to be in a abusive relationship and couldn't handle horror, movies or movies with a lot of violence. They wanted to see this because they are no longer in this situation and their partner didn't want to see it at all so I went with. Afterwards the remark just wasn't that terrible like the first one was. I said because it's become old hat. It's been seen before so many times that not new and frightening.
I said I experienced the same thing watching jaws again. The thrill of it was gone you knew what was gonna happen and it wasn't scary.
