@ brownglucose, great name and cute outfit. Was the makeup scarier or more of a cute look too? Haha I thought the footwork was deliberate and in character till I read that.
Aww... @billiam ~ I'm sorry for laughing, but your delivery was PERFECT!! lolol There's, hopefully, next Halloween... or maybe you'll have a little more fun on Thanksgiving!!
@CuddleGdolla ~ Now THAT was, indeed, creative! Had to take a walk on the WiLd SiDe, eh?
@yorkieoc ~ I ACTUALLY LAFFFFFED AT THAT PLAY ON WORDS!!! Good one!!
@QuietTimes ~ Heck, I cosplay as an adult all the time!! lol The question is, did you have fun doing it? lol
@DaveFromSussex ~ Oooh, Babe, sincerely sorry to hear that! I WILL NOT ask if you had "fun"! Hope all went well and that you're on the mend!
@JazzyPants ~ Somehow, knowing that somewhere in the world, JazzyPants was dressed as Rainbow Bright, makes everything better!! lol I'll bet that was a fun costume...even without the boots!
@sage91436 ~ That's the costume you told us about!! LOVE the freckles...and the bear, too!!
@Buck ~ BEAUTIFUL sky pic! Thank you!! Your fuzzy babies are cute, too--- that snazzily dressed little black one stole my heart!
@4cuddles ~ or shall we call thee "grammarian torch carrier"!!! lol And yes, that IS weird, but we like things like that here! hahahahaha!! That all black and fur costume ought to be a HIT!! So glad to hear you had fun at the first party, too! I SOOOOO would rock that black/fur ensemble IN REAL LIFE, WITHOUT IT BEING HALLOWEEN!! heeheehee!
@brownglucose ~ WHY was I just closely examining your photo, looking for the part of the costume that represented the "grad student" part!! hahahahahahahahaha!!! Old Person, here!! lolol You look pretty in pink! And I thought the same thing, @4cuddles, about the fancy footwork at first!! lol
Well, Folks, I STILL don't know what I did with my dress...lol However, it sounds like most of us, at least, got to have some fun. Thanks, again, for making this Halloween even better and more enjoyable!!
I haven't dressed for Halloween in a long time, but went with A Clockwork Orange on my Halloween cruise.
I was a Power Puff Girl with my daughters. Buttercup
@Homesteader It was supposed to be funny. True, but funny. So no worries about laughing with me
I went as whatever this is. Honestly just my clothes and good makeup.
@Homesteader lol I just like the imagery. Carrying a torch in one hand and perhaps holding a dictionary on the other hand. I don't really intend to correct anyone's grammar!
Loving all the photos everyone.
Hey @4cuddles ! Thanks for the clarification! lol We'll stick with your current, cool screen name, then! While I don't correct others' grammar, I read a comment from a poster that read, "I hate grapes. They discuss me!" A poster under him answered: "What did they say?" I LAFFED. HARD!!! lol Reminded me of the Autocorrect nonsense!! lol
Hi Beautiful @MelaB ! "Transfixed" is a word... Thanks for the share!! I screamed, ran away, hid, peeked out, said, "Wow, she's gorgeous," hid again, then got myself together to come back and post a response! lol LOVE the gothic rock out!!
@billiam ~ Oh, good!! I couldn't help it-- I could just hear that pause... before you added that last part!! CRACKED ME UP!! I'm glad we got to share a laugh! lol
@Tonika ~ WHEN I SAW THE GLASSES!!!! The Power Puff Girls was one of the few cartoons I allowed to hit our tv! And you look _________totally powerful_________ in your costume! It's really great that you and your daughter got to share such an empowering cosplay for Halloween!
@Vocalist100 ~ Are you serious??? A HALLOWEEN CRUISE?? WOOOOOO.... Now THAT would be interesting!!! After seeing that eye thing they did in that movie, I NEVER tried to watch any more of it!!! I am glad, though, that you finally allowed yourself to go out and mingle for Halloween!! Thanks for the share!
@Homesteader Yeah, I'm sort of addicted to cruises, but am not much of a partier, and the Halloween cruise had a rep for being as such. But I decided to finally try it (always gotta try something at least once, right?) on Icon of the Seas with the singles travel group I usually cruise with, and it was a blast. Signed up for next year's Halloween bash too! And with a little modification (remove the bowler and codpiece) and add a chef's hat with a rat silhouetted inside and it'll be Ratatouille.
I always wear atleast 3 costumes each year lol.. i loooove dressing up
@Vocalist100 ~ I don't blame you for reserving your spot for next year!!! THAT SOUNDS LIKE A BLAST!!! Maybe they'll do karaoke next year!! And just so you know, I keep and recycle my costumes, too!! I'm thinking that next year, we'll go as Wolverine and Storm!!! I hope this isn't the last fun you'll allow yourself to have between now and then, though! Thanks for sharing!
@huggaboo_baby ~ I HAVE FOUND ONE OF MY TRIBE MEMBERS!!!! Yessssss!!! Lovely Lady, you have put the EXCLAMATION POINT at the end of this thread!! LOVE the costumes, the hair, the makeup---- YOU UNDERSTAND THE ASSIGNMENT!!!
Thanks for sharing these! It looks like you had a creative BLAST!! LOVE it!!
With that, we've got to move on.. to getting greasy and cinnamon-scented, anticipating THANKSGIVING (food)!!!!
Thanks to allll who shared the amazing creativity, fun, and frights for this Halloween!!
