@lonelytauros: Yes, though when I started wrestling back in the 90s, I was mostly paired with much smaller not particularly athletic women so I played to type and was a heel "power" wrestler. I did like to go into the big comeback at the end of matches by doing stuff like jump off the top and get cut off because I was over confident or showing off.

I quickly learned the characterization and the ability to put together matches coherently was more important than moves, and maximizing the former over the latter has been very good for longevity, which is probably why I'm still doing this into my sixth decade now.

I don't win very often, but my finisher was a Tombstone Pile Driver, though most feds don't want one doing that anymore. I never injured anyone with it though, e.g. I did that with Mickey James before she was famous a lot. For the faint hearted, Boston Crab, Figure Four Leg Lock, and occasionally I stole Stan Stasiak's Heart Punch. 😊🙂❤️

  • @MajesticMango: Oh, definitely yes to all that! 🤣

  • @HarleyGirlKate if you need a partner for the partnered helicopter spin, I can be of assistance.

  • Happy Monday!

    Another week to celebrate yourself

    Happy Monday everyone (:
I hope the weekend treated you well!

Don’t forget to take time for yourself this week.
Whether that be a crushing gym session lifting weights, a walk at a park, visiting an old friend, or even just taking a nap.
Don’t forget to that while you’re trying to take care of everyone else someone has to take care of you and from what I’ve heard, if you want it done right you gotta do it yourself so pour yourself that glass of wine and unwind 🍷

Don’t forget that you can’t help others if you’re not helping yourself.

You deserve a sprinkle of love and empathy that you’re trying so desperately to give others.

Its ok to take time for yourself 😌

I wish you the best week 🩷

  • Happy Tuesday

Share your favorite Chest and arm workouts!

It’s Tuesday and I did squats yesterday so I’m hitting bench today!
I love it when bench falls on a Tuesday cause then I call it Titty Tuesday 🤭

Help me expand my workout by offering your favorite upper body workout/ exercises.

Also, what are you doing today to get active?

  • My activity today was trying not to choke on my water when I read titty Tuesday. 😀🤣

But no, just walked to lunch to get some extra activity; it’s beautiful outside right now. Will hit a hiking trail later today.

  • Simply here to cheer and support all of you that are active or considering being active. If it’s a struggle that’s totally understandable. Just do a little bit more today than you did yesterday in terms of activity, and that doesn’t necessarily need to be at the gym. The gym is an intimidating place for some. If you ever want to chat fitness or goals you’re welcome to hit me up.

  • if you’re reading this…

Unclench your jaw and relax your shoulders

We carry a lot of stress in our shoulders and unconsciously tense ourselves up.

This is your reminder to loosen up :)

This thread has motivated me to delete my account here. This website is trash, people charging $150 an hour to cuddle. And the braindead men who pay them apparently

  • Good Riddance 😌
I hope you find your peace ✌️

@cuddlebuddee420: A bit harsh for a gym/workout thread. I hope you find something that works for you better. Goodbye and good luck.

I know you are already gone, but if you come back a tip to suceeding on here is lashing out and acting angry isn't going to make most women, to whom you are a stranger, feel comfortable with the idea of meeting and possibly cuddling with you. For many--dare I say most women--safety is the first consideration and everything else with cuddling seems to proceed from a sense of safety.

Back to physical culture stuff. Want to keep MM's thread on the tracks. 🙂

@MajesticMango: @HarleyGirlKate if you need a partner for the partnered helicopter spin, I can be of assistance

Thank you, how kind you are! My first mentor, Walter "Killer" Kowalski did this helicopter spin thing where he would grab someone around the ankles and helicopter spin and then act dizzy and fall down, giving the wrestler he was beating up and opening to make a comeback. I think I might start doing this again. Used to a lot, but haven't in years.

I've been changing up my wrestling style some to put less wear and tear on my body now that I'm over 60 in a sport where a lot of people hang it up in their 40s, lol, and the helicopter spin seems like a good one to revisit.

Might also try it with someone across my shoulders. Easier on everyone involved than say a Death Valley Driver, lol.

  • @MajesticMango I didn’t end up going on that hike, worked late. But I did enjoy a nice walk along the Boise River today.

  • Loving the pictures from everyone. @MajesticMango thanks 4 the reminder to breath and losen up.

My latest update- was starting to get into weight training but got some kind of injury 4 neqrly a month, thats causing pain across one of my arm & shoulder.

Though, I'm trying to not let it put me off doing other workout it has activated insecurities about my form when using machines or weighs. I'd like to find a gym buddy who actually knows what they r doing! I seem to have forgotten everything I was shown by a trainer.

Right now prioritising videos on forms & stretches & recovering from a cold.

    Happy Sunday 🌧️

It might be a gloomy day over here where I’m at so I’m taking advantage of this ambiance to clean and rearrange my room and end it with a nice relaxing cuddle with a book 📖

I always try to keep my space clean and organized to help keep my mind clean and organized as well.

As much as I try to take care of myself physically, I also try to do the same for myself mentally.

A healthy body with a healthy mindset.

What are things you do to help yourself relax?
Are you going to do some of that for yourself soon?

  • Today is legs day. I'm down 100+ lbs since January 2023.

Just bought a size XL at a retail store for first time ever. 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹

50lbs more and I'll have reached second goal!!!!
    🦵🍑💪

  • @SungSherBear CONGRATS! That's so awesome! How are your vitals and labs at the doctor?

  • I'm not really sure. I know my blood pressure is much better and I feel much better and move easier. I do need to go get lipid and I'm A1C checked though.

  • Rise and Shine You Beautiful Creature!

I hope you take time for yourself, slow down and find moments that are special to you and may your spirits savor them ❤️

    Now go shine ✨

  • A little late to the conversation but i love all the comments. Gym life is not just for my physical but also mental heath and as a social worker if I do not work out I’m cranky all day. Its bad. I teach people to wiggle the sadness out their bodies. I absolutely love movement and encourage it in any form. Gym life or picking up a sport. 😍

  • @MajesticMango Building strength today with bench press!🦸🏿‍♂️💯🤩💪🏿🔥😁😎🎉

  • Look at you shining like the star you are!!

  • A member of my immediate family passed and I am outside of California tending to their affairs, making funerary arrangements, etc.

I am finding that going to gym a lot while I'm here is really helping my mental health, though I have to take breaks and go in the bathroom and randomly cry for 5 minutes and then go back to working out.

  • @HarleyGirlKate sorry about your loss. Hope you also have other types of support around you.

  • @HarleyGirlKate you're in my thoughts 🤍

I went to the gym recently because they got a new machine. After using it for awhile I got a little sick. That machine does everything, M & M's, Snickers, Kit Kat, Cheetos, Almond joy....
