  • @Muggle_Mike there are meet and greets throughout the country, i dont drive so attending them can be tricky for me

Agreed, karma really is the only way to measure new people. If it is even recognized.

Excess baggage carried affects all new interactions, it may come down to just a general respect for the customer. How much money did it cost to aquire this customer..in business this is important and representatives for that business are taught that.. it gets engraved in them.

This is new territory. But men need to be given more respect here. We pay for most of this.

OP may have been venting, but that's what he wants as a customer.

I am extremely desired right now

Unfortunately, people often do not leave bad karma where it is warranted because they are concerned about getting bad karma back in retaliation.

  • @theCuddleDrgn funny enough fetlife has groups like that XD
The interface on either site isn't great for it but nothing stopping us from organizing social gatherings. I would probably go

  • Ime, everybody wants to feel seen & held, appreciated & connected. It's not about illusion for me. Quite the opposite, actually. It's genuine soul to soul connection beyond physical mental limitations. There's a certain presence needed to hold this kind of space imho, where we can step out of the illusion of space & time to honor each other in mutually beneficial ways. It feels different than just a transaction to me. It's more like 2 souls helping each other out with the resources they have. Time is money, just less replaceable. If i agree to show up in this way with time & presence, I'm going to Fully Show Up. Some men do want a different kinda deal, but i am providing a more valuable service than that, and i dare say, it's worth every cent. 😘🫂🔥

  • Yeah idk. The transaction the timer and the sudden stop when the alarm went off made it feel weird for me whether she really connected/wanted to be there or not. Hired someone once probably won't again.

  • @SweetSweetJane the chances of cuddling a perfect stranger and they GENUINELY giving you the “feel, seen, heard, soul to soul connection” is 1:1,000,000 This website is an illusion with a extremely small amount of true connections without MONEY being the underlying connective force.

  • May i suggest everyone try and speak for themselves rather than for or too another entire group of people? I'm sure you all mean well but quite often the mark is missed. I try , try to just speak to what i see from my perspective. I'm sure i don't hit the mark all the time but i am attempting to do that. It might avoid bad feelings.

  • Men are people. People don’t all want the same thing.

  • What do men want? A good question.

Aristotle argued that all humans seek “eudaimonia” which is often translated as "flourishing" or "happiness." For men (and humanity as a whole), this means striving to live a life of virtue, reason, and purpose. Aristotle believed that fulfillment comes not from fleeting pleasures but from living in alignment with one’s highest potential.

Existentialist thinkers like Jean-Paul Sartre and Friedrich Nietzsche might argue that men want freedom—the ability to define their own purpose and live authentically. Sartre emphasized that humans must confront the burden of freedom by creating meaning in an otherwise indifferent universe. Nietzsche, on the other hand, suggested that men seek the “will to power” — not in a domineering sense, but as a creative force to overcome limitations and achieve personal greatness.

Freud, from a psychoanalytic perspective, might say men are driven by subconscious desires—primarily for love, recognition, and the resolution of inner conflicts. Hmmm

From a Taoist perspective, men might simply want to align themselves with the natural flow of life (Tao). True fulfillment comes not from striving but from living simply, in harmony with oneself and the world.

Modern philosophers like Alain de Botton argue that men (and people in general) want connection, intimacy, and understanding but are often stymied by societal expectations, emotional barriers, or existential fears. (Ah ha!) This perspective suggests that much of what men want is shaped by culture and personal history. It also probably comes closest to addressing why men are on a cuddling site.

Ultimately, the question of what men want is deeply tied to universal human desires: to live meaningfully, to be understood, to belong, and to transcend limitations.

As for me? Friends I can count on, quality beans in the espresso machine, sports on tv every night, a good pizza place no more than 15 minutes away, a dog at my feet while I work and in my lap when I rest, a good bourbon, voice controlled hi-fi so I can easily summon up good music, and a really good, long, relaxing cuddle at least once a week. 🙂

  • Is this just another thread that is a thinly veiled cover for people to piss and moan about pros ?

  • [Deleted User]simsaddict (deleted user)

Yeah, ultimately, the space I provide is safe during my sessions. I don’t want anyone to tell me they desire me because based on previous experiences with former clients, they form an attachment and try to push the boundaries of platonic touch.
I can understand the need and desire for human touch and connection, but my personality will turn so quick the moment someone ever says something about desiring me, or insinuating anything past platonic boundaries in a session.
Personally, if I wanted to someone to tell me that, I would hop on a dating website because it’s rampant on there.
And I’m not shaming anyone but for the people who actually use this site to regulate their nervous system with physical touch and comfort, there are tons of pros that offer safe spaces. I can’t really speak for enthusiasts, but I know I find myself being incredibly selective about if I book sessions based on the way messages are worded as well.

  • What men, a man or this particular man wants is opinion until someone actually talks to the man in question.

What I desire is how to make crazy bread at the house, but even more of a desire that may resonate with many men is my food order to be correct with nothing missing, brought on time and not extra delivery fees.
If I got that uh huh que lonely island boyz simply because being a man is a terrible thing in 2024. Being a man with feelings is just terrible in any decade. Cuddling is only for the strongest of people 😂🤗💪🧸... Me a grizzly hear me roar!!!!!

In all honesty making sweeping assumptions makes the ass analogy warranted amongst all of us

  • It's true. we have an innate need to cuddle each other without having feelings. That's why we invented wrestling.

  • @pmvines
    That's a great photo!

  • @Anthony404 I realize that it's not the typical experience. I think I see it a little differently because I do so much hands on healing work in my daily life, and my spiritual practices keep me connected to a bigger picture. Time & energy is more valuable than money tbh, and I see cuddling sessions as an opportunity to offer healing (which i do for work in other ways anyway). I'm sorry you haven't found worthwhile connection/s in the experiences you've had here. 🫂

  • Men would like to hear that their value as human beings is appreciated.

And if their interaction has pure intent, that it can be seen or noticed.

They want to feel like their presence isn't just tolerated but treasured. That's right, treasured.

That gestures of kindness are met with kindness, not bitterness.

That the actions of a few don't reduce the actions of the majority.

    Men desire peace without drama.

To be met with a smile and a warm disposition.

Most of all, men want an ice cold beer.
    (Hope this made someone smile)

  • @pmvines is ready for the Player Haters Ball!

  • @Dance_Culture sounds about right

  • "Vulnerably Safe"...dam young dudes are leaking masculinity

  • [Deleted User]jimmylee (deleted user)

I was going to comment, but reading through (mots of) the posts, it looks like this mainly concerns men enthusiasts cuddling with pros. My experience through this site has been largely with women enthusiasts, so I'll take a pass on this one.

Not all men want what all men want because all men are not all men. Amen in a secular way.

  • @SweetSweetJane I've had experiences like you describe, here even. In fact for me, it's easier to have closeness with someone I don't ever have to see again. It's pretty easy for me to be genuine and open with a stranger.

I wish you were in my town!

  • [Deleted User]hoosierdan76 (deleted user)

Men want the excitement of going to war, but done so in relative safety. That’s why motorcycles are so popular. ;)

  • All I wanna do is zooma zoom zoom zoom in a vroom vroom

  • @lonelytauros

While that obviously has the potential to send this thread completely off the rails-It is absolutley hysterical.

That gave me a greatly needed laugh-I appreciate it.
