Gratitude is an important trait to practice, and can lead to more happiness in your life. In honor of the holiday, what is something that you are thankful for ?
I’m thankful for my home, hot water, food and drink, my job, being able to walk and having command over my body. Most importantly I give glory to God who makes things possible for me.
I realize that all these things can change in the blink of an eye that’s why I am so grateful each and every day for what I have.

I’m thankful for friends, because without them I would be posting ad nauseam like this instead of just talking to real people in the world. Life wouldn’t be worth living without them.
Sounds weird, but I'm so grateful 4 the amazing toasted bread I had today from a local supermarket. After an upset stomach, was craving toast. It was overly buttered, warm. Ate most of it whilst walking.

I’m grateful to be spending the holiday with my wife of 41 years at the rehab hospital as she recovers from a bad fall during a bed-to-wheelchair transfer at her assisted living!
I'm thankful for all the amazing people that have helped and stuck by me through a rough patch In life that I had to endure over the last 5 months. I'm getting through it slowly but surely and try to stay as positive and optimistic as I can each and every day. God bless you all! Much love ❤️ 🤗

I’m thankful to be back, fr though. And for everything from the small things to the large. Gratitude is so important!! Recognizing that daily is a beautiful practice.
I’m thankful for my children who are letting me stay with them while I figure out what’s next. My brothers, SIL who are also a big part of my life, we’re all getting really old lol.

I'm thankful for wonderful people who have been in my life a long time, wonderful people in my life who I've only met recently, strong communities to help me weather the worst, and this roast beef sandwich.

@gem7 Funny you mentioned ice cream. Earlier today when it was 27 degrees out, I suddenly needed some. So conveniently located just steps from our door is a little 24 hr ice cream shop that has every kind imaginable and entirely self serve and no employees. You go in, choose & scan your items, pay with card or cash in a screen/card reader and leave. Honor system shops here, I’ve seen even boutique clothing shops with no attendant. And the amazing prices because the $ goes really far here!

Living in a first world country. Sometimes we take for granted how fortunate we are.
I am thankful for knowing. I am thankful for awareness. I am thankful that i have been enlightened to the things of the world and can share with those that i love. I am thankful that i can see. I am thankful that i have( insert long list here). I am thankful that i am awake, while so many are not both intentionally and unintentional. I pray that over time everyone has the opportunity to become aware of the things and people that surround them so that they can truly see the works for what it is and what it can be.
Every day, I am thankful to wake up and live another day. Great friends and family and my health are always at the top of my list. I am thankful that I have experienced giving and receiving unconditional love.
I am grateful that my right hand (my dominant hand) is finally free after six weeks in a splint following a dog attack in September and surgery in October. I still have about a month of physical therapy to get my pinky to bend again, but this is the closest to normal I have felt in a while.
