I’m just wondering if Pros provide discounts normally during the festival season?
I am this year. I posted it earlier today. I don’t think it’s a normal thing for pros to do. I happen to have xtra time off from my day job, last minute. Normally I only offer a discount the month of my birthday as a client appreciation
I do typically offer discounts from time to time but it’s generally a case by case scenario. Cuddlers are not obligated to offer any discounts, but it’s definitely a nice treat when they do. ^.^

This site really needs to change the TOS though cause they can ban your account for asking about a discount which to me is ridiculous. Why would people not be able to say hey I can only afford this much and then give the pro the option to fill their scedule
It seems logical to me to just to inquire with the pro.

No, professionals do not routinely offer discounts for holidays or festivals. However, some professionals do offer discounts from time to time, for one reason or another.
@joe7 that is because you do not understand the amount of abuse that professionals have to endure. And if you don't ask Walmart or your lawyer for a discount, or offer one to your employer, you shouldn't ask a cuddle professional.
That particular question is one habitually used by abusers, and consequently asking it immediately puts the questioner under suspicion. History teaches us that the suspicion is usually (almost always?) justified. (It's a gateway question used to test boundaries.)
Asking for a discount is inherently disrespectful because you are questioning the professional's competence.
My advice to professionals being asked for a discount by a potential new client is to Block and Report in most cases: there are exceptions.
@CuddleDuncan my experience with a discount request is asking for free cuddles 🙃.
As far as a discount for the holiday season, I would absolutely consider it (or offer it), if it came from a client that I have excellent rapport with. I believe that most people value time with their families during the holidays and would only consider a cuddle at a holiday (more expensive) rate .
On the home page it’s explained that there’s just in the USA alone , 9900 professional cuddlers on the CC site.
Seeing that professional cuddlers here are independent contractors, they can I assume set their own policies for subjects like this. (Unless it’s against the TOS ?)
With that sheer number of people you might get numerous responses to your inquiry 🧐
And as any question you ask in life you have to be prepared for the answer even if it’s the one you don’t want

It's my guess that there's more to the ban story and that the user was not banned for asking for a discount.

I offer discount Cuddles to the clients. I've already had a session with that I like. They know who they are, including. @OhioMike Mike. It's the ones that give me the warm, cozy, extra platonic, dreamy cuddles.

@joe7 If someone was banned for asking for a discount, they must have been very persistent and aggressive about it, or it was a combination of that and bad behavior. I am interested to know who all had been affected by that cause I definitely have not ever banned anyone for that.
I get asked about discounts from time to time even though I don't have any posted. It's always ok to ask.
@KozyKim I agree with you! If you have a regular cuddle buddy who is respectful and the cuddles are amazing, it's easy to extend a session or give discounts. I agree with @OhioMike on this one too, you are the sweetest and I miss your positive, loving energy! 💖

Shouldn't pros raise their prices due to the fact that more people have time off? The pros probably see an increase in demand

@CharlieBear i sent a message simply asking if someone would be willing to discount their rate from 70 to 50 and my account was suspended for a week which I found shocking. IMO I thought that was extreme however now if I think someone's rate is too high I just don't message them so thanks to this site I no longer give them the opportunity to get a booking for a small discount cause I dont want to lose my account. I disagree with that rule however a rule is a rule so I am now following it
