Dragons are cool and if I lived alone (which I don't at the moment 😊) then I definitely want a Mogwai as a pet. Seems pretty easy to care for, as long I as get rid of the sinks, tubs and toilets. Lol 😆
And no longer consume any liquids of any kind. 😆😆😆

One thing I love about books (SPECIFICALLY OLD SCHOOL PRINT VERSIONS) is the touching of the page whilst reading. I know its not the everyone learns best or IMAGINES, but for me, touching the page and the ink and the cover, creates a very different feeling.
Mythical creatures brought about by the words of the author can look like a million different things to different people. I love that. I think each time I have read this series, the characters take on a different look even. Hmmmm. I'll have to think about that!

I can see the pros of Knuckles living here with us, as well as the cons. We'll all get plenty of exercise 🏃🤾🤸 and meditation time 🧘 with Knuckles, which isn't a bad thing. 😁
My son will at least have solid male role model to look up (or rather down😜) to, as long as I keep the fact of Knuckles being a "warrior first, and a rooommate second" in the fore font of my mind...We'll all be fine! 😁👍
Plus feeding him is quite simple, he totally digs on grapes 🍇 and Cool Ranch Doritos! 😋

But bonus, here's the exact postcard I used to have, from the 90's...
The photo has been around since at least 1964...the same taxidermed rabbit, on slightly different backgrounds, with the same verbiage...
"Often called the Antelabbit, this, the most amazing of all desert animals, is reputed to be a cross between a jackrabbit and an antelope. Rumor has it that the Jackalope sings at night in a voice that sounds almost human."
Check out this charming vintage note on one of them that's for sale on Ebay...

The company that bought the original photographer's postcard rights was still selling 38,000 of his Jackalope cards a year, in 2005.
You can still find more modern iterations of it for sale in souvenir shops, in 2025...
So cheers to the little Jackalope that could...still going strong, over 60 years later!
