    Sad and alone.

  • @DeeHomie
Good for you for keeping to your recovery, I know holidays can be a hard time for sobriety

@DeeHomie You are on a roll so just keep moving forward. I am rooting for you.

  • Alone and ok with it. I work tomorrow so I'll be alone there too. Sending the best vibes to all

I’m spending it at home with loved ones but alone in my room and alone in my bed. A cuddle last night was sufficient to hold me over, thanks to God, because it was much needed and much appreciated. For once I felt a connection during a cuddle session that I’ve never experienced…I’m not sure what to do about it either. Cuddling is something I enjoy doing-meeting new people and exploring all there is with that. After 17 years of being divorced I thought I could never experience that sort of connection. Maybe I’m overthinking lol. In any case-Merry Christmas my lovely Cuddlers across the globe. Feliz Navidad. Buonanotte 🥰

  • When I was married I would have preferred to be alone. Now that I'm single it's nice to spend it with family. At the last minute my parents decided to visit and its been really nice. The last 2 Christmases after the divorce, I was alone and I loved it. Not sure how they will be going forward but the main thing for me, I guess is not so much if I'm sharing the time with someone as much as it's peaceful and no drama.

  • I’ve found I love the peace of a day where most things stop - including my business which keeps me engaged a lot of the time!
Tomorrow is a nice fire, long bath, peaceful stroll, healthy food, exercise, meditation, giving thanks - food for the soul. And some checking in with a few friends.
It’s taken some work to find more space for loving myself - but it’s been worth struggling (and continuing to struggle) through the resistance.
There are few gifts as valuable as deepening contact with oneself
    Peace to you all ✌🏼

    I’m very grateful to holidays.

They demonstrate how reliably delusional most of the humans that I share the planet with truly are.

Santa, Elfs, Flying Reindeer, Peace and Goodwill, Heaven, Hell…

It was an inoculation when I was young.

  • I'm pretty much always alone, and used to it, so it's just like every other day.

  • I will also be spending the day alone. I'm going to the movie theater and comming home to a nice dinner for one. I hope everyone has a lovely day.

  • @CharlesGrove I'm ALL about the treats: candies and cookies and other yummy snacks.

  • @EthanNeedsHeld peace to you! Food for the soul resonates with me ❤️

  • I’m home today. Since I’m not working, it feels like a weekend day. I started celebrating the winter solstice about 20 years ago. I would go to my family celebrations on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for them. Unless I was working. Now that I am alone, I just celebrate the solstice. I had a peaceful one on Saturday. My IBS flared, so I couldn’t go out.
