Is the forum just...... (New years 25' and Year of the Snake MASGA)

Turning into one big case of Serotonin syndrome.
Or are we moving towards some type of verbal dystopia.

I have on my crocs and getting a Venti 2 song dance at starbucks while I ponder this world of CC forumhood.

  • I lean toward documentary. I had never heard of Serotonin syndrome but after looking it up, it seems like a proper diagnosis for some forum users.

You lost me on “MASGA” - all I found in an online search was Mid America Strawberry Growers Association 🤔

  • Society as a whole is moving towards Idiocracy. There I said it.

Side note the majority of Serotonin syndromes symptoms are physical so I am not sure how that is relevant to the forum.

If society as a whole ever leaves the Idiocracy stage, it will be the first time it has done so.

    Humans have always been humans.

All that changes is that we develop technology that lets us do more harm to more things in more places even faster.

But humans are what we are.

  • At what point do humans stop trying to understand what it means to be human and just say..'I got this, no problemo'?

  • Trying to understand what it means to be human is part of being human.

Or in White Zombie’s case more human than human

  • True.
So how each of us understands things individually.
    Is this acceptable in society?

  • [Deleted User]MaverickLegend (deleted user)

No it’s not acceptable because everyone thinks they’re right and if you don’t think like they do or like what they like well then you must be wrong

  • @UglyDuckling

Not just acceptable but good, as long as there's good communication. When people refuse to communicate (ie, both talk and listen), that's when you get what @lonelytauros just said.

  • Its learning found through asking questions or assumptions?

If humans are trying to understand, why do we then ask so many questions when we are young, and make so many assumptions as we age? Does our communication skills digress?

  • Is this forum a way to practice communication of this new age?

  • Assumptions are the opposite of learning. Many times I've been forced to make assumptions because people refused to answer questions. How many of those assumptions have been right? Difficult to say. All I can do is go on the available evidence.

For people who have made assumptions about me without bothering to ask if those assumptions are correct, I can confidently state that most of those assumptions have been wrong.

If humans are trying to understand, why do we then ask so many questions when we are young, and make so many assumptions as we age?

That's a different topic I've been thinking about, the difference between neurodivergent (in my case, specifically autistic) and neurotypical communication. Autistic people usually like details and clarity and will ask questions and appreciate questions being asked. Neurotypicals seem to prefer assumptions, and avoid asking or answering questions.

One can ask all the questions they want but if they don’t have common sense then the answers are meaningless. Assumptions are never good.

  • Good point. So common sense is part of being human.. Hmm

  • Brain function is individualism at its core!! A true human attribute. Great point.

  • Now for @JohnR1972 and the Idiocracy masga baby reveal: lol
Although it is a snake for chinese new year we as Mericans during 2025 will be programmed that it will be the time to build walls and push tarrifs which ultimately means forget china. Make American Snakes Great Again.

This thread is to human for the interweb. It should be closed and deleted before we show that common sense and individual thoughts are out greatest source of hope for a better human race living together in peace and happiness!!!!

  • Through simple conversation 9f age old, innocence from birth Q n A civility

  • Apparently all of your answers can be found in the movie It's a Wonderful Life

  • Lol. If life was only that simple.

  • Would be wonderful, wouldn't it.
