  • Ya stank brah

  • If it’s manageable and not overbearing, let it slide. It’s only one meet 🤷🏾‍♂️

An hour or more with someone (in a close intimate setting) with bad body odor is unbearable,
Why should the other person (who is having to smell them) have to “manage “ it?

  • Cost of doing business. Endure through the session. Tell them afterwards if you must, but if they want a session afterwards, politely decline.

  • Maybe for some but many won’t and will end the session. Just be considerate.

    👍👍👍

    @pmvines That's a subtle approach, I'll take it!
    😄😄😄

  • Overtime I’ve learned different things to help. My mom told me about how her brother would wash the dishes before he went on a date to make sure his fingernails were clean. I do this occasionally when I feel the need

In my vehicle, I carry a toiletry bag. I also carry a change of clothes. They’re having even been times where I was more depressed than usual. I would cancel the session last minute and pay the 50% instead of showing up without showering and such.

  • My random complaint is people who don't seem to clean their ears. Despite not being a Pro, I'm always the one who brings the blankets, pillows, etc. to cuddles, and there's nothing like rolling over to find ear scuzz flaked off all over my cuddle pillow to kill the vibe with the nicest of cuddlers. I've even found it in my hair. 😱

This is from guys who are otherwise clean, and smell fine... Please for the love of God, scrub your ears in the shower so they don't exfoliate on my cuddle pillow! 😭 I, also, have no idea how to tell my cuddle buddies about this issue...

But for the rest of you, fear not...I have numerous pillowcases, and bring a fresh one to every cuddle. 😋

I think in this situation, there’s no need to make a big deal out of it. Just be polite, like you would with any human being you interact with.

If hygiene is an issue, kindly ask them to take a bath, brush their teeth, and clean themselves thoroughly. In most cases, that’s enough.

If that’s not sufficient and the person still has an odor that’s unbearable for you, then of course, you can’t continue. It happens—some people shower and still have an odor, and it’s not their fault, but it can be uncomfortable for a professional setting.

So, same approach—if it becomes too much, just explain the situation kindly. Be honest and don’t hide the reason from them. Let them know why you can’t continue, and that’s it.

This is absolutely true. Some people have the condition Hyperhidrosis, and no amount of deodorant will fight the amount of sweat that pours out, even in a resting state.

  • I suppose it's good that our eyes cannot see the microscopic.

A person is a perpetually erupting volcano of skin flakes, spittle, oil, sweat, hair, bacteria, mites, gas, etc.

    Happy cuddles, ya'll.

  • I appreciate this concern and thanks to everyone with their great ideas. 🤗

For me, if they’re new clients, I vet through a video chat and ask that they shower and brush their teeth before a session.

Sometimes my travel time can take awhile and when I arrive I excuse myself to bathroom to brush my teeth. I literally say, “I need to brush my teeth, did you brush yours, already?”

I haven’t run into body odor issues, but if I do, it would not be a problem for me to ask them to take a quick shower while I wait. If they’re worried about their stuff, I can wait in my car.

    Good luck.🫂

  • @SunsetSnuggles if you have a good relationship with said cuddlers I’m sure they would get over the initial embarrassment and then thank you for it. I’ve had a few cuddlers who managed to have lunch before they came over and there was garlic and/or onions in it and I’ll ask them what did you have for lunch? Then when they tell me I asked if it had any garlic or nooks mad they say “oh my gosh!” Say sorry and then go use my mouthwash. They then say if you ever notice something tell me.
I get pretty paranoid before a cuddle, I’ll shower and wash my hair if my gel is getting hunky, floss, brush my teeth and use mouthwash. All to be on the safe side and definitely try not to eat anything within two hours of the cuddle appointment.
And when people have noticed something while cuddling or in other situations I’m happier they tell me than pretend everything is fine.

  • Look, if a cuddler has some bad B.O
I'm letting them know that they have bad odor I'm uncomfortable cuddling with, wishing them safe travels home and not taking their money.
Why should I be paid for rewashing my own sheets I would probably end up doing anyways or taking a shower to get their smell out. Common now.
