Why did a bunch of old accounts reappear?

Was an email sent out or something? Suddenly tons of people who havent logged on in months reappeared (but still don’t reply).

  • How dare they !

  • It has to be the weather or something in the water. 👀

  • so many possibilities...

▪︎ If they had their notifications on, they do get emailed if someone messages them and etc.
▪︎ Weather / Cold days are cuddly days.
▪︎ Maybe they got busy during the holiday months and now they are back.
▪︎ New year resolution to cuddle more.
    ▪︎ Who knows?

  • @cuddleup296 This is referred to on the internet as reverse ghosting where the ghosts put in an appearance.

  • Did he say goat or ghost?

  • @g_w_t_w @LadyVel Could very well be weather related. I heard Its so cold out there even Al Gore reactivated his account and looking for a good cuddle.

Hmmm, why have so many isolated, frightened, stressed people suddenly started looking for comfort as the country is collapsing (or worse) and the world is burning (and much worse…)?

    It’s a mystery.

  • Over the years, I've noticed that the demand for cuddles increases after the holidays. I hadn't been on here in a couple of months, but came back after receiving multiple messages just last week. It could be because of the colder (snuggle) weather, availability opening up and wanting to wind down after hectic family obligations, or trying to combat SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder).

Maybe a lot of folks got CC gift cards for the holidays :)

  • When I was a pro I used to capitalize on the cold weather by charging a premium.

  • On a related note, my go to cuddler has not been on her account going on three months. I have sent a few text messages to her and have received no response. So her account is still listed, but no response. What can I assume from this! If she no longer wanted to be a cuddler why keep her account?

3 months is nothing. Pros come back after being inactive for years. Why delete an account and lose all your Karma and all the reputation? There is absolutely no incentive to delete an account that is in good standing.

@softncuddles No way of knowing what is going on with her life. Her day job may have temporarily gotten busier, family issues, could be anything. CC isn't top priority for everyone.

  • I have no idea what this post even means.

  • If they're pros, then maybe all those folks have a sudden need to pay off Christmas shopping and are looking to earn some money?

  • Maybe ask them. They will be the only ones that truly know the answer. Or message them with a link to this thread

  • Maybe ithe answer is as simple as OP accidentally changed his Last Online option to Anytime ?

  • Maybe a lot of folks got CC gift cards for the holidays :)

    Is there such a thing?

@Jubal Could be, as Christmas layaways are slowly becoming a "thing of the past" now it's about store credit cards.🙄😔

  • As far as I know the site only sends out notifications that you enable in your system settings. As for no responses, having a photo and a profile with substance can help with that…

After I made my comment above, I just looked at the report queue and saw a no-photo, no-name profile that was sending “Hi is humping allowed?” as their initial message to everyone. He has since been banned. But this is typical with profiles that refuse to reveal anything about themselves so don’t expect a response when these types of profiles flood peoples inbox with this kind of nonsense. Too many creeps for anyone legit to take them seriously.

The temptation to say “only on Wednesdays and only with camels” is strong.

  • Client : is humping allowed ?
    Pro : Only on Wednesdays
Client : Great , can we set something up for next Wednesday?
Pro : I dont meet on Wednesdays.

  • I hear a lot of pros have been locked out of their accounts like myself after getting a new phone and not being able to log in anymore. I tried everything and contacted support but nothing in return until I emailed someone directly because a regular client gave me the email info. So that could be it as well. We all have our own lives and things happen. 🤗
