@pmvines I live alone, so I don’t shop a whole lot at Costco, but their gasoline station is as near my home as any other and is virtually always the best price in town. I save enough on gas to oay my membership.
I'm snuggling kitties! This is my Bubbers!
He makes it too hard to get a good pic!
@Thellie - he thinks you're his pillow.
Just enjoying a walk in the Australian bush ...
@respectful You mean I'm not?
He also makes it hard to make bed
I’m thinking about supper. For a couple of years I’ve gone out for a simple supper on each Tuesday with two friends who have both left town to visit relatives over the holiday. My two favorite places for dining alone are closed Tuesdays. I bought a couple of pork chops to grill on the 4th, maybe I’ll have them tonight instead. I should go out in the 90 degree heat and see if I can find some fresh sweet corn. It’s too early for local corn, but the farm stands sell corn from farther south and if you don’t ask, they will let you think it was picked this morning.
I was just working on creating this word art based on what everyone shared in the forum post about: Beyond cuddles what is that one other thing.... ?
Laundry, watching Father Brown, and snuggling kitties is filling my afternoon!
killin' time (yawn)
Home from work thinking about my day. I was in a home seeing a patient who was imminent/actively dying. The nurse and I were speaking and we noticed her apnea had stopped and was no longer breathing. It was her wishes and her families to be dressed in her traditional Scottish dance outfit, complete with hat and scarf. She was being cremated, and that is what she wanted to be wearing. So after the nurse cleaned her I helped with the outfit, called the funeral home, and waited until they picked her up. We were telling her daughter we didn't expect her to make it through the night, and not 10 min later she was gone. Her family said it was as though she was saying to us wont make it through the night , eh, well let me one up you! Definitely one of the more unique death visits I have encountered.
Listening to some old screamo music. Sometimes angsty adolescent fry scream anthems can hit that sweet spot when you have an itch lol
It's July 4th and I'm in America but not American, so I'm feeling foreign, or as the US government likes to say 'alien'.
Two-social-justice-warrior points for the barb against the govenment that also calls you 'guest'. As for what I'm doing; watching the rain fall on my parade. (grin)
Just got back from tubing. Lots of people on the river today -- very American. Am pretty sure I was the only one there who did not own a pick-up truck!
What an awesome movie! Makes me think Dogs are so Human!

thinking up money schemes
Watching the Simpsons (didn't get it when I was young, it's actually funny when you get a little older) with snacks. With namechange legal stuff coming up on the ninth, I'm trying to get in as much relaxation as possible.
In hospital sitting on reclining chair at this hour, trying to get some sleep while my mother fights to recover from chronic ailments under doctors observation..
staying cool in this LA heat!
Just got back from Detroit, where I had a very nice cuddle. ?
Hey @choicesvital I'm sorry to hear that man, I hope your mom recovers soon, Stay strong man
Just got done talking to a good friend on facebook. she was in a car wreck about a week ago. checked in with her. shes doing alright, having been in a rollover myself I was able to give her a lot of insight on whats normal after a wreck and what needs attention, best OTC pain meds, how to let things go and allow yourself to process, etc. talked for probably an hour or so, maybe hour and a half.
she's doing okay. just kidna sore and bruised, but DEFINITELY not beaten. she is one tough cookie, I tell ya what. I gave her a couple links about "Holding Space" and told her when her and her bf are together if she could get him to do that for her during couch cuddles or whenever, that that would go a LONG way to helping her recover. Especially psychologically, mentally, spiritually, and even physically. Holding space is a concept really everyone should be practicing, but very few have even heard the term.
anyway so its 1am now, so gonna eat some left over pizza even though I already had 3 slices, then go to bed. haha
Looks like fun UKguy. Will you travel to FL this year? Just checking the sight to see if anyone needed me for cuddles, haha. I always go to the home page. Lately there's more and more new faces, young cuties too! woohoo! Enjoy the rest of your 4th of July fun plans.
mikesdome, plz share if you come up with any. :-}
Laying in bed blowing my nose and cough. Acute Alergic Rhinitis (Hay Fever). Picked up benedryl and Mucinex, hope it works.
@mickcuddle If it doesn't work, try one of the newer allergy meds. For whatever reason, Allegra works best for my hay fever. But I know people who are advocates of Claritin, Zyrtec... and there's an even newer one that I can't remember the name of. Anyway. Probably one of them will work wonders. Hope you feel better!
Did about four hours of work in the garden in 110 degree heat. Phew! Now I'm completely wiped out. Drank lots of water and took lots of short naps to recover. Just had an Italian ice, now drinking a raspberry/citrus energy drink. I may call in sick tomorrow.
God bless you UKGuy, it's dangerous doing yard work in high temps. I try to do it early am, or B4 the sun goes down. Last week I was able to get the front weed wacked right B4 the thunderstorm started, got rained on a bit, felt good! Hope you feel better fast, vitamin c, and lots of water. Same will help mickcuddle, and saline for your nose. I had a sinus infection lm, my allergies as well as most people are bad this summer. God bless, feel better. Under the weather myself, headache, emotionally drained.
