I want to emphasize the fact that ban decisions are based on information that is not available to everyone on the site. While anyone can speculate what the reasons are for a ban, there's usually more to the story.
Mods do not ban people lightly, and when we do ban there's a good reason. In many situations, people are given warnings, particularly when the issue at hand isn't a threat to community safety.
This is Ban Johnson. Baseball history credits him as the founder of the American League. Despite his unfortunate name, he was not anti-penis. But it would make a great name for a Cuddle Comfort mod. Perhaps this post belongs on the suggestions to improve this site thread.
@pty1999 they check pro info, so if a pro gets banned, they’re banned forever. They have our real names in order to charge us the session commission fees through our banks.
It’s only clients and enthusiasts who can ban evade as much as they want since ID or bank info isn’t checked for them
@Sooson I really am unsure why you're naming names... especially since that's not the topic of this post. I agree with previous posters saying that a ban does not make someone inherently bad.
Not to mention, there's been previous posts about some of the rules that only apply to pros being arbitrary, yet a means for the site to not
I agree even more with the moderators that we can only speculate on the reasons why a person was banned. So, this type of attention just seems unnecessary and like a witch hunt.

@coquette it actually is the topic of the post, but I guess that's always kind of subjective. This place has some strict rules, so I definitely agree that breaking these rules or some of them doesn't make one a bad person, but I could say that that's not the topic of the post either, right?
the purpose was not to call out a pro who got banned; my inbox is full of them. but rather to show that a banned pro came back a week later. I thought it was funny in a way since that new profile was banned as well rather quickly that's all. but I agree, one can only speculate on the reasons why a pro that got banned opened another account shortly after.
Anyways, I flagged my post that you are referring to for removal since this could have been done without mentioning the name and the mods will decide.

Here's a question. If someone schedules with a pro (for, say, 2 hours) and this gets extended during the session to longer, how does CC know this has happened? Do they just rely on the honesty of the pro?
Basically, the site has rules and those who don't follow it get banned.
Secondly, there are flaws. Not necessarily to the rules but since I have been (and am) on other forum sites and as mod and admin even...you get to learn that not all screenshots are even real. So everyone tends to automatically take it as evidence when it may not be so. Not hard for a techie person to fake those. So that is one downside.

@Vocalist100 We file our own taxes. We keep up with all the details and payments. We are not employees, therefore the website does not provide tax details to us. And, yes, if a session goes over, the pro can enter it in the website system, so the fee is calculated correctly. There is another thread about taxes if you want to do a search.
I've heard of people getting banned for giving out phone number etc without a booking first. Basically bypass the cut that th site gets.
You can get banned for stuff like giving out your phone number before someone has an appointment with you or forgetting to deposit your fee all kinds of small stuff
@lunar_deity - For minor offenses like that, you're given warnings first.
I’m so annoyed. I was finally hitting it off with this one woman. She just joined this month. Both of us were lamenting about how every time we get close to scheduling a session the person just kind of disappears. So it was a relief to find someone who is being a realist and wasn’t flaking out on me. Then suddenly it said she was banned. We did use the word “sex” in our conversation, but it was talking about how we liked that there was no sex to be involved with cuddling and that’s why both of us were into this idea. I hope she appeals it and then I can actually finish the conversation. So disappointing.
@LuciusFox Unless you reported something in the conversation, your conversation is not what caused her ban. Wish you luck and hugs 🫂
@LuciusFox Nobody would be banned for using a keyword like that in their messages. We would manually confirm something like that and it would be clear nothing non-platonic was being discussed between the two of you. I don’t know who you are referring to but there is likely more to that story.
Edit: I checked recently banned members and if I am looking at the correct person (I believe I am), their public profile/photos contained numerous things that would be considered non-platonic. It had nothing to do with your convo.
Edit 2: And before anyone responds, this is not a thread where us mods would typically discuss why anyone was banned. That would get crazy very quick. I just happened to see this comment and decided to look into it since I was curious.

I was disappointed because I had another person with no info to suggest unplatonic intentions ask about coordinating with numbers and before I could tell them we need to do a booking session first and then we coordinate, they were banned too. I figured banning was automated. Just hoping my potential clients get reviewed so we can set up a legitimate meeting. But if a person is banned, they can appeal, correct?
@LuciusFox Yes, you can appeal a ban. Not sure how many people do it. I've heard the number of successful appeals is pretty low.
@LuciusFox We ban so many accounts, the account in question was probably reported by someone else for any number of reasons. No account is auto-banned as far as I know, so a moderator or admin would first manually check what had been reported, investigate, and then take action. If you didn’t report the person, it was most likely due to someone else reporting them. We only respond to reports and we can’t even read messages until a person has been reported. Though yes, if someone is banned they can appeal.
Bans are permanent up until you get a new email address. Great way around being muted. “I hear”

@periscope - They are quickly discovered and banned again. They have ways of discovering banned members returning which they won't share with us for obvious reasons.
