I honestly really think that the site should charge no shows a fee

@Janelle19 I have to agree with Mike. The only way to do this fairly would be for the site to investigate every no show to determine it wasn't for a legit reason (like an illness or an accident), and even then, they have no way to mandate a payment. They don't have credit cards on file for enthusiasts.
Wow! I have had at least 7 Pro's reach out to me for first contact. They have all been established Pro's with plenty of good Karma reviews. I would say they were all practicing "there's a good chance this client will utilize my services", because they have all resulted in actual sessions, or genuine interest to base traveling decisions, "I'm going to be in Portland on (dates), I like your profile, would you like to schedule a session while I'm in town?"
I'm completely flattered by these experienced Pro's cold calls. They have all turned out to be legitimate. How would I know a traveling Pro from Nashville or Hawaii is coming to Portland, unless they inform me? I think this is totally acceptable and within bounds.
When I signed up with CC one year ago, I reached out initially to five Pro's. Of those, four resulted in actual cuddle sessions. I haven't made first contact since...
I'm very happy with one of those initial four and we have 3-4 cuddle sessions per month. The only other cuddle sessions I have are from established Pro's who have cold contacted me first. They see I have good karma reviews, with other established Pro's and they deem me a safe bet.
Business is tough these days. So, some "targeted advertising" of professional services is not only acceptable, in my opinion, but encouraged!
I don't think I've had any pros actually "cold call" me, but I have had a couple that visited my profile which caused me to visit theirs then they sent a "Hi, how are you?" message. (Although, I also have a comment on my profile that anyone is welcome to contact me even if we aren't a cuddle match, so I wouldn't be upset by cold calls.)
I was looking at my messaging and I have sent messages to a total of 32 pros, and that has resulted in 14 bookings. (Some conversations started by me, some started by them after I looked at their profile.) In addition, there are 5 pros on my "will see if we ever happen to be in the same city" list, 3 that didn't reply and 3 that deactivated or deleted their account before we could really discuss scheduling details. There are 5 that have reached out to me after I looked at their profile that I probably won't book with (mostly because I can't host in my home city and they didn't host either). Beyond that it's mainly conversations that were inspired by forum posts.
This is a great question that may have some complexity to why some things are the way they are. A couple things I have to take into consideration when scheduling are allow responses or no response. To combat that I typically will reach out to several pros to increase my chance of scheduling at my desired time. When doing this, sometimes I'll receive no response at all while other times they'll ask hit me right back. I tend to go with who seems to have the most genuine excitement and shows the best overall value.
