💵 Message-to-session ratio 💵

I'm curious (1) roughly how many actual sessions pros have compared to how many "serious clients" they talk to, and (2) is there a significant change in this as you become a more experienced pro?

Let's just say a "serious client" is one that seems promising enough that you decide to respond.

If you could estimate how many "serious clients" you talk to, vs. how many sessions you actually have, what do you think it would be, and has it gotten better over time? Perhaps as you've learned to gauge what is a serious message, or as you've improved your profile, or anything else.

Looking for info like "I would guess have one session for every X clients that I attempt to book."

I know this is no serious statistical analysis, and there are many measurable factors that could be considered if I had the time, but I'm just curious for a rough idea.

As a pro I'll say 95% of the messages I receive are not serious

I try to reach out to most people who visit my profile, if they are in my city, or in one that I’ll be visiting. If someone is in a different city I’ll assume they are randomly clicking profiles and it would be up to them to reach out to me. I try To be respectful that if someone is just looking around, trying to figure out what this cuddling thing is all about, we can all be friendly and cordial and say hi how are you etc etc.

It is essentially a sales job, a numbers game. A return of 5% is not unusual. It takes effort to establish a clientele.

I would not want to book a session that considers cuddle comfort a sales job---its true PROs offer a service---but it has a lot more to do with the art of building personal relations. Establishing a rewarding PRO-client relationship takes work and genuine interest.

I don’t really keep track. In general, I limit the amount of back-and-forth with a prospective client since I do a video call before the session. I let the client know that we can talk more during our call. Sometimes I reach out to people who visit my profile and the success rate is much lower than when someone reaches out to me first. Although people reach out to me for other reasons like just to say hi or for something to do with the forum.

I thought it was discouraged to do any reaching out as a pro, so I do not reach out to anyone. I only respond to people who message me and I would say 90% of them want a cuddle session rather than just saying hello from a forum etc, and then I'd say 90% of those desiring a cuddle follow through and we cuddle.

@GuyverGordon That’s my understanding, too, based on other threads I’ve read. Because I have reached out to people who viewed my profile, I’ve actually had more communication. However, I don’t necessarily get more bookings. Lots of people seem to disappear or get banned or just don’t end up booking. It can be frustrating, but I try to stay positive.

@GuyverGordon I can't find the exact reading that made me feel that way, it was day one so maybe it was something in the process of becoming a pro. The only thing I can find is this, which does leave a lot open to interpretation. Maybe I'll start reaching out soon.

I'd say I get 1 session per 3-4 individuals😊 The retention rate is only about 5% though.

I’d say about 6-10. I reach out to whoever visit my page even if they’re not local. I try to give the benefit of the doubt.

I would say 90% of the ones I have messaged have messaged me first after viewing their profile. Which I'll add is nice because I am more on the shy side of things. I'd probably never talk to anyone if I had to 100% initiate it (with some few exceptions).

I’ve only had 1 serious client so far. Everyone else who has messaged me or I’ve reached out either is banned, deactivated, or would tell me they aren’t ready to book at this time. Half the people don’t even check the location and then it’s just time wasted because we live too far and they don’t want to try a virtual session.

Regarding the "pro reaching out to a client" thing: Just because I visit a profile doesn't mean anything to me. Most of the time I read the forums and like to see what person they are - so I don't even see if the person is a pro before I visit the profile.

Anyway, exactly what I'm thinking. I check out people's profiles (on different, dating sites) willy nilly and if I don't reach out, I'm not interested and I assume the same for potential clients on this site.

However, since this thread was published, I've started to reach out to potentials only if it is stated they are in Austin, TX (like me).

I've made 2 tentative bookings that way already! And surprise, some people were looking at my profile again after our initial correspondence fizzled away, so I re-reached out to them. So far, I've had one person respond positively to that and penciled in a booking. So 3 new bookings because of this new methodology! (Tbd if they turn into sessions)

I also think my openness, compassion, and non-demanding attitude help attract clientele. Along with my complimentary 5 minute phone call. I've had clients tell me they have found other pros to be abrasive with their marketing techniques or in how they write their profile.

My suggestion to any pros trying to increase their clientele pool is to read your profile and ask yourself, would you book you if you were in a dark place and in need? Or is there something making potential clients feel unheard, unsafe, or simply seen as a source of money?

Obviously I don't have end-all-be-all answers. I'm only human.

I think since I’ve been established for years now on here, I definitely see a decrease in interested parties in scheduling sessions with me.
When I was new, my inbox was flooded and I think that has to do a lot with people boundary pushing and trying to see if they can be inappropriate and what they can get away with.
I also publicly post my opinion in forums and I make it known on my profile that I’ll defend myself from sexual assault.

So of the few messages I now receive, they’re all interested or serious enough about a session but I don’t book session s because I don’t accept last minute requests or day of.

I mostly forget to check this website, to be honest and my availability has changed over the years. So, little interest from potential clients means I remember to check every few days. Even if I comment on a forum, I forget to check back. 🤣

@PersianPr1ncess with your rates being on the higher end you might get less tired kickers. If you looked at a Ferrari dealership I wonder if you'd get less people actually coming up to a salesman to talk to them but not serious compared to a ford dealership. My brain can be weird so that's how I compare it basically. Lol

As a new Pro I can say 98% of inquiries I get stop responding (are banned or deleted within a day) once I establish the firm boundary I follow all of cuddle comforts platonic rules and only offer cuddles and a session where the ther person is offering non-sexual companionship for all of the emotional and physiological benefits.

I do follow up with anyone who sends me a message after reading their profile page. That is if they filled anything out 😉

I guess I've been lucky but most of mine end up booking. I'd say maybe 20% are flakes, accidentally clicked, curious, delete their account, or get banned.

As a moderator, I have seen that the low effort messages rarely turn into completed bookings. "Hey" or "R U avail?" are useless, followed closely by an endless back and forth loop of "how are you doing?" that never goes anywhere - especially from a new blank profile.

As a client, I've had a pretty high success rate in putting a lot of the logistics into a first message. This can translate into a confirmed booking with a minimum number of back and forth cycles.

"Hi - I'm traveling to [city] for work - I'll be in town [dates - include both day of week and numeric date with month] and usually prefer to host 2 hour sessions at my hotel. I can also come to you if you prefer to host. My availability is generally in the evenings - I look forward to hearing from you if you're interested." - also usually mentioning something about their profile, pets, or shared interest/or shared favorite show/movie.

Type it out each time - don't copy and paste as that generally leads to mistakes, like having the dates from your last trip or the wrong city, or copying the timestamp or excessive blank lines. The point being, put all of the logistics on the table up front. Dates/location/hosting or guest/preferred session length, etc. With a couple of well written messages you won't have to copy & paste because you'll get better results. Assuming you have profile pictures, some info about you on the profile, and karma.

@cheeseboy those are definitely the dream clients to work with. I personally hate making decisions, so a client knowing the exact details of what they are wanting is a true delight because then it just comes down to- can my scheduling fit with their request, and do I feel like I can meet their needs.

The less stress the better- in all situations ☺️♥️
