I'm grateful for my promotion yesterday at work, for my "Papa Dough" that I redeemed today at Papa John's for lunch. $8.00 off was great. I'm also grateful for friends, family, and others that care about me.

This is one of those questions that’s easy to overthink.
Trying to avoid that (😇) I’d say I’m grateful that every new day is an opportunity for learning and growth.
I’m grateful for adopting that perspective after looking up one day and realizing that living was not just passing time and waiting for age and senility to set in (I’ve always been an over thinker 😎)
I’m thankful for the 60 year old woman who taught me that lesson in my thirties. She was and continues to be an inspiration.
I was given a very interesting compliment today. Somebody told me they feel numb and avoidant lately, and admire my ability to be pissed. That resonated with me. So I am grateful for my ability to be pissed. It gives me purpose and meaning. To not feel numb or devoid of emotions. I know how I feel and though I do not express that in my routine every day interactions, I have a rage inside of me that I am able to harness use as fuel to create something positive and useful in life. I hope one day to be pissed enough to change the world for the better.

There are many things to be thankful for:
The ability to parse information and digest its purpose.
The crispy nature of a waffle before the syrup.
The sound of the coffee maker finishing up.
The faint scratching of graphite to grain paper with a new idea.
Being in the thankful mode creates opportunities for understanding.
Understanding is our ultimate goal.
I'm grateful for friends with a listening ear when I randomly go off the rails.
