Whenever accusations against the website like this come about, you'll notice moderators are often the most aggressive in their push back. That should come as no surprise. They see the passionate effort behind the scenes to fight this non-platonic abuse of our community, every single day.

It's also an emotional investment. While a report might seem simple on the surface, it often isn't when addressing it. The moderators make decisions based on a confidence threshold. The severity of punitive action can also be in context with that.

I'm completely certain that choosing to be passive and complacent (as sometimes alleged) would be a massive existential risk. I worry about it a lot. I've seen how some people cynically make reference to the business angle of it. That never made sense to me. It would be incredibly short-sighted. If these misconceptions were to ever become the primary perception of this website, it's over. We would lose our moat and unique value of being the cuddling website and fade into irrelevance.

  • @Katota I thought it was "A visit from the Board of Ethics".

  • @IronLemon Huh? Lol

You mentioned "elephant jokes", this my attempt at telling one ...😆😆😆

  • I believe it was another joke of this type. :)

  • @MenoPop Ohh! 😮

Okay, now I see what @IronLemon is talking about. Lol

Well, in reality I reckon you would get a visit from them if one were to "crossbreed animals in reality". Lol. But I was going for silly and clever with my elephant fish joke. 😜😆🤪

  • I'm a guy, but, I haven't ever had any bad or non-platonic experiences on this site, while cuddling with many pros and enthusiasts since 2016. If a guy says he has been offered, or received, sexual services from other pros, there's no way to know if that's true; he could be lying. I would believe that some pros are more "casual" about their job and less committed to the site and platonic cuddling than others, and will take the prerogative to do whatever they personally want to do once they are alone with a client. However, that doesn't change the expectation and requirement that clients and pros keep things platonic.

This site can't completely prevent pros from getting messages from users who are looking for non-platonic services. An important part of being a pro, from what I've seen, is calmly showing the client the door, literally or figuratively, if things get weird at any point, from initial messaging through repeat sessions. Not being a pro, I can't speak to the details of screening clients.

  • I was hoping this thread was about elephants.

  • Unfortunately there are bad apples with good apples. I still believe in the good of ppl and the ones who truly just want to cuddle.

  • I guess I'm staying in hopes of connecting with an actual platonic cuddler in hopes of experiencing the healing/therapeutic nature of cuddling that I had a few lifetimes ago... Unfortunately, my experience her so far has been guys looking for more, many LOTS more. Sadly some play it all platonic till you meet... Yes, I have reported some. At least I've been able to have a few nice conversations on here.

  • Its interesting how the owner chimed in which is not always in this forum. Yet people stayed on track with an opinion that is it best elementary in understanding the big picture.

    Nice!!!
    Kangaroo court at its finest

  • I'm not sure what that means

  • [Deleted User]easylike (deleted user)

    me either lol

  • This is an elephant court, not a kangaroo court.

  • This is an elephant court, not a kangaroo court.

@IronLemon Darn tootin it is! 🐘😜🐘😜🐘😜

  • There’s an obvious one in the Professional Cuddling section. If that one doesn’t get banned, I’ll be more than concerned. She’s a pending pro, trying to “Book” (charge) in lingerie and a ….pose. @Sideon
Does anyone look at their photos when these people apply to be Pros?

  • Lol. Elephant court would be a upgrade for sure

  • My words are usually meaningless until they become meaningful. Elephant wisdom quote

  • I would like to say that initially I thought it was the men on here that were the problem. Typical men who lie about their true intentions and are just playing a game, looking for more.

    I was wrong.

Twice in the last month I have had new members reach out to me and it both cases some of their first conversations were with pros who immediately offered "more" if the client paid additional fees. One guy said "I know this site is supposed to be platonic, but that makes it confusing for newbies like me." I wish sex work was legal here in the States. I really do, but it's not and the women who are treating it this way are ruining it for the rest of us. I doubt those "pros" ever take the time to engage in these discussions, but if you happen to be reading this, knock it the heck off. Do better.
    BE BETTER.

  • I hear this complaint all the time and I think I've been here for about a year and have not had the experience where anyone got out of line. I have had pics reported for wearing a bathing suit on the beach...

  • @SquishyJackie i think this is what I've been confronted with as well. People often there are other site and apps for stuff like that, but there is also this site. It's about being honest and aware. Even the creepiest of creepers wouldn't be in a place where they weren't getting ROI. The sweetest of sweeties wouldn't continue to be in a place they were violated too long. At least i wouldn't think they would.

Man people are so naive about human nature.

  • @Reltvlycanshes yeah, I agree. We're all human and I'm not naive, I know mistakes/unintended things can happen but blatantly promoting and encouraging them is a different story. It can be exhausting fighting the good fight, repeating yourself over and over and over. Eventually the sweetest of sweeties will give up and leave and then this site will be like all the rest.

  • It's about being honest and aware. Even the creepiest of creepers wouldn't be in a place where they weren't getting ROI.

@SquishyJackie , 100%. If it never happened (from either the client or the pro side), people wouldn't ask about it. After all, there aren't forums talking about how to get "extras" from your mechanic, or your plumber, or your dentist.

But with both cuddling and massage therapy, this topic comes up over and over again. And a lot of it is situational -- you get two adults behind closed doors, anything can happen. With massage therapy, you also have one party removing most/all of their clothing, and with cuddling you have people on a bed or couch in intimate contact. That certainly doesn't mean either service should or has to turn sexual, but I understand why it sometimes does.

I also totally understand why CC has to take a hard line on this. Selling sex is illegal in most jurisdictions and this site can't put itself at risk. CC has no choice. But on a personal level, I am not at all bothered or even affected by what two consenting adults do behind closed doors. It's none of my business.

  • @Hooscuddling I agree. Consenting adults, none of my business. I'm not passing judgement on what people may end up doing occassionally but on what they are selling and openly promoting from the get-go. If a man had 5 conversations or cuddles and 1 turned sexual, it would not be something he takes as "normal" and comes to expect. When a newbie has 4 conversations and 3 of them offer more in the first message or two, that's a problem. Now it becomes the "norm" and makes me work four times as hard to find a decent man to cuddle with. Especially being an enthusiast, men get excited when they think they can get the same service for free and when I tell them that's not what this is about, not what I'm here for, they think I'm being coy and playing a game. Frankly it can be exhausting wading through the bullshit.

  • @SquishyJackie Pros can’t offer “more” in the first couple messages, because messages on the site are monitored. They would have to do it after a session is booked and contact information is exchanged.

Like I said above, I’ve never had any unsolicited offers of anything, having booked with maybe 15-20 pros. Maybe it varies by area. In San Jose, if I click on the first 10 profiles of pros, they are all extremely thoughtfully written and clear—obviously written by women who are passionate about platonic touch and won’t tolerate anything non-platonic. The quality is shockingly high.

  • Messages aren't monitored the mods can't get into people's accounts to monitor conversations unless it is someone they are investigating stemming from a complaint or report. This is why they say to be sure to report them. They aren't sifting through millions of messages just to see if someone mentions sex.

  • @frankparker9 I think it's wonderful that the pros in your area seem to be taking it seriously and are representing this community so well! While I haven't messaged any of them, there are certainly well-written profiles in my area as well. Hopefully if any of them are reading this thread they will realize I'm clearly not talking to them. 😊

  • Often the photos some people show in their profile will give a good idea of what they’re offering. Think of what they’re advertising.
