Last November I offered to provide a list of those websites linking to CC so their links could blocked.

We have an extensive evolving list that has been discussed on the internal mod forum over the last year or so and which benefits from our first hand analytical data. We then block direct link referrals on the firewall from those websites with a special message discouraging their visit but that's as much as we can realistically do as a deterrent/friction. We also make disavow submissions to Google and Microsoft to further distance ourselves.

I appreciate your willingness to help but I suspect a mod decided to delete your thread not for disclosing information (which we likely already had) but perhaps related to posting adult sites and/or risks of reinforcing harmful misconceptions.

  • @roni56 posted: "even if someone shows a lot of skin in their pictures, doesnt mean they are offering anything."

It doesn't mean they are. But why would you dress for a job you don't want?

If you're here to provide platonic, nurturing, therapeutic, professional services, exactly why would you dress like a Vegas stripper?

Photos are part of Pro's advertising, just as the text in their profile is. Their words and their image are all people have to go on to figure out what to expect.

I am not saying anyone deserves sexual assault because of their level of modesty, don't even go there...

But I am saying, people are communicating through their clothing, and the conscious choices that Pro's make as businesswomen can be very telling.

I haven't read this entire thread, but one thing I'll ad (as a male user/customer) is that some people have difficulty separating sex and intimacy. Cuddling IS intimate; your pheromones are crisscrossing, body parts are touching, OP mentioned massaging (who doesn't like a massage?). As a provider, you can feel out that question easily: are they trying to get a full body rub down or while you're laying together, a neck and temple massage? My heart really goes out to the ladies on here though. I've been the "first guy" for a few girls locally and followed up to find they couldn't handle the other creeps on here.

@SunsetSnuggles That is a fabulous analogy, thank you! ๐Ÿ˜

I chose to not even bother with a response to @roni56, because...Well, I just chose not to this time. ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿคš
    Again, loved that! Bravo. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘

@jaison Boy howdy, don't they have a difficult time separating the two. So glad, that I am one of the OTHERS (not the some) who can indeed separate the two. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘

  • @g_w_t_w @Katota I Personally cannot stand pictures that show skin, I even have an app that filters them out.

I guess youโ€™re trying to insult me but itโ€™s not possible, Iโ€™ve been around a long time and have a good amount of confidence.
Iโ€™m fine ๐Ÿ˜Š but the girls who advertise sex, then get assaulted and that damage can change their lives. Itโ€™s not good. I want them to be safe. Many are naive and donโ€™t know how to deal with aggressive men.
Please reread @SunsetSnuggles comment above and donโ€™t be a creep.

  • @g_w_t_w ah i apologize if it came as an insult to you, you would be the last person I would even try to target.

Maybe there should be separate site for seniors only.

Maybe you should consider a different site to troll. Comment reported, reviewed, and left intact as exhibit A of being a dick in the forums. Enjoy a lengthy timeout. [-Sid]

@roni56 Why not start one? (Not being facetious, it's an honest suggestion.) After all, though this is not a dating site, there are dating sites for seniors, so why not a cuddle site for seniors?)

  • @WriterGF lol was suggesting one so that there would be less fight about attires. If i had the resources I would, but i believe cc is doing a great job. There are some things it cannot control, i have accepted it, but what can be done is atleast not profiling people. Maybe based on voting, cc should change their guideline about pictures, making it more strict, only face shots and everything else blurred.

  • [Deleted User]WriterGF (deleted user)

@roni56 Yeah, only problem with the cuddle site for seniors is that a lot of the senior guys on here seem to want twentysomething pros :)

  • edited February 2025

@WriterGF and quite a few younger men prefer older women.
This is why assumptions and generalizations donโ€™t work.

  • edited February 2025

    .

  • @WriterGF haha yea yea agree, was not serious about that. Old prefer young, young prefer old, all need to be under one roof to survive.

  • I do offer massages as a part of my cuddle sessions; however, I am not offering sex to anyone. I ran into the same concerns and learned very quickly that I had to be extremely clear upfront prior to every session to make sure they understood that I have very firm boundaries and would not be having sex with ANY client for ANY amount of money and if that's what they are looking for or expecting then let's cancel the session immediately.

In addition, I don't feel that a certain price point means "sex worker". For me personally, I live outside of the main metro area so for me to travel to a client, I need to make a certain amount in order to make it worth my time. I also feel that there are certain safety concerns that I would worry about and feel I would encounter much more frequently at $50/hr. than I would at $150/hr. I think each pro sets their rates for various reasons; but ultimately, it's just a matter of what we feel our time is worth.

    Be safe & Happy Cuddling!

  • Folks. The elephant on THIS thread is staying on topic. Get on topic please. Ask yourself: is my post about the OP topic? Am I adding to the conversation? Does my brilliant comment belong on the OP thread or should I start another one because my brilliance needs its own thread?

    Carry on.

  • Stay on topic...elephant in the room, massages, ulterior motives, focus, focus...you can do this!

I love how every bit of that gets dumber as you look at it, except for the elephant, of course.

VERY on topic. Almost meta, really!

  • @theCuddleDrgn I think there is nothing wrong with listing your donโ€™ts on your profile. As a matter of fact, I love when people do that. I have seen people say โ€œI hate head scratches, so do t touch my headโ€. I personally love receiving and giving head scratches but I wonโ€™t with a cuddler if they donโ€™t want it. But itโ€™s even nicer that the person put it on their profile because most likely we are not a match. But I respect they were honest. So go ahead and list:

    No massages
    No wardrobe requests
    No sexual advances
    Etc.

Yes there will still be ones that will say to you why so negative. I say good for you because that is crystal clear communication.

    Just my two cents.

๐Ÿ˜ @theCuddleDrgn thank you for being brave and trying to be part of the solution.

Hey yaโ€™ll I want to bring up a difficult discussion....

It seems that this site has gone down hill since 2021 and the people I run into seem to want non-platonic services. I also hear all kinds of stories of sex workers on CC, which is frustrating because this is just NOT the platform for that.

Anyway, just wanted to bring up an uncomfortable topic....

that has been frustrating me, but I have been very patient with. Just donโ€™t know why these people donโ€™t go to other platforms for sex workers. Because bringing that here is just making it harder for legitimate healing to occur.

This discussion doesn't need to be uncomfortable. EVERYONE who has been on CC for more than a minute knows this specific aspect of the cuddle world is a bit problematic. There are people who have been here for a very long time who have been able to fly under the radar and not get caught for all of their sexual exploitation since the inception of the community.
What you may not know, (or you are only recently becoming aware of) is that this kind of thing happened long before you joined in 2021. A few examples.....
These comments date back to 2013 in the forums and in user profiles.

I don't like the title of the thread. Women are not trophies. However, I understand what you wanted to ask. It doesn't matter is s/he a woman or a man, always watch out for their personal boundaries and continuously seek consensus (this is applied to sex usually, but it fits to cuddling as well).

The net is awash with dating sites. This isn't intended to be one of them. You may find your attempts to connect are knocked back. That said, there seem to be plenty on here that don't get the idea of cuddlebuddies.
    https://www.cuddlecomfort.com/Bruin says
I'm here for cuddles. Nothing else. If you're looking for love/romance please look elsewhere.

It is true that there has been a LOT more people who have joined the cuddle community and therefore its maybe a bit more noticeable.... but I don't think its going to change any time soon because there are still plenty of people who will have a penchant for asking for something that is not available from this site, or FROM YOU.

I for one, am glad you are here and grateful that you have a desire to be a PRO and help people who are looking for the benefit that platonic touch can offer. Many different layers of healing could be discussed because there are a million different aspects involved and every human being is different. Thank you for YOU! ๐Ÿ˜Š

I get frustrated when I am serious about the healing behind cuddling...

...and the first thing someone want to ask me is if I wear clothing during my sessionโ€ฆ..or if I do โ€œmassagesโ€. It seems like the people who want massages the most, have the ulterior motives without admitting they are looking for a sex worker. There are also, literal people you can go to for a massageโ€ฆ..so then why waste time here? It just seems so much more tasking and its disheartening to the people who take this seriously.

Your profile is filled with all sorts of beautiful things. Would you feel as frustrated if they asked about more platonic things? Maybe you get requests that say "I can only cuddle in the mornings. Can you do that?" Or it might say "Can I tickle you?" when you're profile states you work days and only have evenings available for bookings and you clearly say NO tickles.
They didnโ€™t read your profile. Don't respond. Block them. OR if you would like to spend your energy training these people how to be platonically minded, reasonable, connective human beings, send a copy paste "lesson". Easy peasy. End of story.

It reminds me of a funny scene from Notting Hill "We are a Travel Book Shop.... We only sell TRAVEL BOOKS"

Later in the movie, William Thacker is having a serious moment with Anna Scott and the same guy comes in and it only takes TWO SECONDS for him to point to the door and say "Get out. Immmmmmmmediately."

You get to decide where to expend your energy. The feeling frustrated part is something that takes up space in your heart and takes away from the ability to connect with more individuals who are on the same track as you and align with your intentions.

You can spend all sorts of time saying "I want it to be different" EVERYWHERE in our world. Unfortunately this community is no different and it won't likely EVER be.

One of the most fantastic things I have learned to say is....

    Thank you NEXT!

Do what is in your heart and in YOUR best interests. You are amazing and I wish you every beautiful thing on your journey.

@TheFunCartel I actually do list them on my profile, which is why its exhausting having to explain them to someone who either doesnโ€™t care or doesnโ€™t pay attention. But this is why I have phone calls with everyone. Because on the site they will say in writing that they fine with platonic, but over the phone request things that were clearly listed on my profile. I list the boundaries because I treat it like a contract. People constantly try to deny that I am unclear about my boundaries when I express being upset, then I just screen shot what I post and they change their tone. This will usually result in being blocked and banned. My only thing is, I canโ€™t really report someone if I donโ€™t have written evidence. Can I still report someone if I donโ€™t have evidence? My screening process has thankfully helped me avoid tons of danger and predators. I would post my screening process, but I fear someone learning it, and attempting to slip through the cracks.

@sillysassy Thank you so much for your kind words! I definitely agree with saying thank you next. I think I am just confused why someone would continuously try to waste their time, which is why I came here to talk about it. Itโ€™s giving grimey and gross.

  • @theCuddleDrgn
You can still report, because it may add to a case the mods already have going.
