hmm. I don't think it's as much looks for me. even though I'm not a pro, I get quite a lot of messages on a regular basis. I've hosted some I wouldn't consider good looking. for what it's worth, some people aren't good at taking selfish that represent them well or just look like prisonphotos or like someone just ran their dog over. in person, they look much better.
I do still like to see photos that show their eyes. I'm an energy person, and I can pick up a lot from eyes. sometimes someone just gives off an energy that makes me feel like yeah maybe not. I've asked for some with better shots of their eyes.
it's not always just about looks. I'm not interested in cuddling people who are married or otherwise attached. originally, I wasn't looking to cuddle with ladies, but since it's platonic, that actually might be totally fine.
I think they do sometimes, but not always. but then too, you have where there's exceptions to most things
I would love to do an experiment. Make a fake profile where all of my information is exactly the same, but I have a very attractive man as my profile pictures. I wonder how different the responses would be.

@SunsetSnuggles - can you or one of the other site admins get the statistics of the pole based on gender and professional/vs/Enthusiast? I think that will be more statistically meaningful to discuss. Of course the results will be skewed by the CC's member demographic and the number of members that respond to forum posts.
After 5 years on CC, my advice to any guy who wants to cuddle women is to know that the list of woman cuddlers you find when you search is not a "make your choice and go cuddle" menu. It's a list of potential cuddler partners and, paid or unpaid, there may not be a single one at this time that you like and that feels you are are a match for them. Give it time, be polite and patient, and you'll find new cuddlers join and are looking for someone like you.

I'm just a regular user, but as far as I'm aware, poll results are anonymous, even to the mods/admin. I think it's too simple a format to save any user or demographic data.
Polls by gender have been done before, but people lost their minds over it.

From a pro's perspective, if that's welcome here, looks absolutely do not matter, neither does sex/gender/religion/age/orientation/etc. Cuddling (platonic with ZERO ulterior motives) is NOT attraction-based, by any stretch of the imagination. Now, I find that the people who comment about how pretty I am, how they like my cleavage, ask me if I'm going to cuddle in pajamas, etc., are ALWAYS, without fail, 100% of the time, looking for something that I don't offer. Just my take on if looks matter or not.

I would say "looks" doesn't matter but the overall "look" presented in the photos they share does impact my decision to schedule a cuddle session. Some people post way too revealing, intimate or risque' photos on their profile so I try to avoid them.

If more men were like you it would lead to less women feeling pressured to compete for business by posting more and more risque photos, women creeping on here from other sites selling sex, as well as hopefully less men creeping on here from the sex sites looking for more.

Nope, looks do not matter. From my cuddling experiences here I look at people sooo differently now. I catch myself people watching in public and thinking “that guy looks like he’d be an amazing cuddle!” to a complete stranger I wouldn’t have previously found attractive at all.

Yes obviously looks matter… everything matters to a certain degree. You pick and choose which variable matters to you at the moment. Those saying no, saying the only things that matters is smell/cleanliness are just valuing one form of sensory over the other not to sound discriminatory .

When I was a pro I had different price levels based on looks.

People just come here to virtue signal that looks don't matter... he can look like The Toxic Avenger (80's bad movie that scared the piss out me when was little) but as long as he smells like a orange blossom we good. This question comes up so often, then there's a poll, and Yes always wins a clear majority. And pros chime in so say well of course not.. b/c they don't want to effect their revenue stream.
