Please report sex workers instead lying about it and posting it to the forums

If a pro turns out to be a sex worker, or they have non-platonic pages elsewhere such a porn site/onlyfans, sugar daddy sites, fetish sites, or whatever, please actually report them, and not just taking it to the forums claiming they were reported when there is no actual report filed against them. Posting to the forums just gives them more business before they are banned. Or just message me and I will ban them. The only person not hurt in this is the sex worker who now has more clients thanks to you before moving on to the next site. This is so stupid...

Also, for the one millionth time, us mods are UNPAID volunteers. We make zero dollars doing this. I work full time. I have a life outside of moderating. If you want to be on a cuddle site with a paid staff that is actively policing the site, please, go there. F**ing hell.

    I appreciate your efforts and the fact you have a normal life outside CC. As a moderator,
    I'm sure its like having a second 80 hour a week job with little gratitude for your efforts you should be compensated at a minimum---moderators are the primary reason CC has enjoyed the success its had.

    The Mods on this site do an excellent job. I used to be a forum admin elsewhere, I know whereof I speak.

    Oh, and if you ever see somebody in the forum complaining about how this kind of person gets banned and that one doesn't, they are lying.

    May I ask why report them if they aren’t promoting it here?
    If they are on other platforms but respecting CC policies and actually just cuddling why ban them? They are just trying to get the 💰 from all angles.
    If a person was on one of those sites and saw a pro then does that person get banned as well? That means they were on those sites looking for something other than a cuddle too 🤔🤔🤔
    How do you know she isn’t tired and wants to give her 🐱 a rest and just cuddle lol

    As a pro, just want to add that I am SO grateful for the mods taking care of reports so quickly every time I've needed to.

    After a gross message, that person has been banned within hours every time I report. Thank you so much for doing what you can to keep me and others safe. 😊

    I am glad to see reports are taken seriously.
    I can see a concern however because some pros may have other profiles on the sites listed however not be in the sex profession directly such as a findom who has no sexual involvement at all so banning some like her situation seems a bit unfair because she basically has simply another audience entirely from her cuddling life. As long as a pro is not promoting it on here or w cuddle clients, should that get him or her banned for what they do privately away from here? On other hand many cuddle clients may have fetishes and only knew of the pro due to being on another site so it the client or reporting person banned to because otherwise how would they have known? I get those being deceitful knowing they will offer sex favors here but for others their private life should be that, right? Can you further clarify. Thanks!

    Even if they are here for 100% platonic reasons, they will get banned if they have non-platonic profiles elsewhere. They can be on the site as an enthusiast, but not as a pro.

    Can't believe it even needs to be spelled out but when there are known sex workers on this site it makes it that much more dangerous for the non sex workers, and means clients will assume they can.get sex from anyone and everyone. 2 percent of sex workers on here might not offer non platonic services on this site, but the other 98 percent don't give a crap what site they are on, they are just expanding their visibility and client base and offering same shit regardless of which site.

    Saying that they are here to take a break because their 😺 needs a rest is a really weird thing to say.

    @lailaniJai Comes down to the site is extremely sensitive about potentially being seen as a cover for sex work. Also, if the site started knowingly allowing sex workers to be pros, you run the risk of all pros being perceived that way.

    People on the site, namely newer site members or those opportunistic ones, have a hard enough time believing the site is strictly platonic, instead believing CC is a front for those offering sexual services. The site has to draw a hard line on what is acceptable for those who are listed as Professionals here to keep a clear distinction the site is for platonic cuddling and nothing more. Any Pro on the site found to be an escort, stripper, sugar baby, or making any sort of adult content is immediately banned.

    This discission was made and began being strongly enforced 5 years ago when certain U.S. legislation (i.e FOSTA-SESTA) was made into law.

    Yes also pros please report men who ask for extras. At first I thought it wasn’t a bid deal because they were not dangerous BUT. If they are allowed to stay on the website it give them the chance to change the atmosphere.

    I want to share some real experiences from the field because this issue is bigger than some realize.

    I’ve had clients tell me outright that other "professional cuddlers" have offered sexual services, ones who are on here presenting as being platonic and following the CC agreements. One client—who is no longer on the platform or even in the country—showed me a half naked photo magnet a cuddle "pro" had given him after providing sexual services under the guise of legitimate platonic cuddling. This is happening. It’s pervasive. And whether people realize it or not, it’s damaging to every single professional cuddle therapist who’s out here doing the work ethically.

    When sex workers operate under the guise of cuddle therapy, even on the fringes, it reinforces the belief that professional cuddling is just a “soft entry” into sex work. Clients who have encountered these pros then bring that expectation to the rest of us. That means more inappropriate requests, more safety concerns, and more time spent proving that what we offer is legitimate, healing, and strictly platonic.

    I fully support the hard stance on keeping this space professional and will always do my part to report, speak up, and speak out. And, I also think we need to look at why some of this is happening. Many clients come here looking for something sexual. Some pros who offer more than cuddling probably feel they can slip under the radar and pull clients from this space into theirs. The cycle repeats because there’s no real way to redirect people.

    So I’ve been thinking about a possible solution:

    What if there were a referral network—a bridge between cuddlers and sex workers? Instead of just banning people or shaming them into silence, cuddlers who encounter clients seeking sex could refer them to sex workers they trust through this network. It could encourage more transparency, prevent clients from lingering in the cuddle space where they don’t belong, and maybe even help sex workers leave the platform because they now have a structured way to get referrals elsewhere.

    I’d love to hear thoughts on this. Does this seem like something that could work? Could it help maintain a clear line between cuddle therapy and sex work while also reducing some of the secrecy and crossover?

    At the end of the day, I want professional cuddling to be respected for what it is. I don’t want my work, my safety, or my integrity compromised because of people blurring lines that shouldn’t be blurred. And I think if we work together, we can find solutions that protect everyone involved.

    And lastly, a huge shoutout and thank you to @CharlieBear and the rest of the moderators who work so hard to keep this space safe for all of us. I know it’s a tough, often thankless job, and I want you to know that your efforts are deeply appreciated. 🫂

    The problem with your referral idea is that it doesn't do anything to keep sex workers off the site and it also continues to keep sex sites and CC intertwined with each other, essentially encouraging sex workers to network with cuddle pros for shared clients.

    I am just getting really annoyed when people are blaming mods for not taking action when there are no reports or they are not banned immediately. If someone was really genuinely concerned they can reach out and let us know the username to check, instead of getting angry because their report is among a sea of other reports as we work our way down the list.

    My thought was that it would be something separate, away from CC. I hear you and I get that intertwining is an issue. It just seems like reporting and blocking alone isn't doing much other than keeping all the moderators immensely busy. They're still flooding these spaces. I have a friend, not on CC, who follows sex workers and has hired plenty of them. He let me know he's seen several making posts on their socials about coming into the cuddle space specifically to find clientele because it's legal.

    I'd love to hear other possible solutions or ideas. 😊🫂

    I have a friend who was a cuddle pro on here who also has a business as a dominatrix specializing in extreme sadism. Even though her dom work was non sexual, in that she did not touch them in sexual ways, didn't touch their genitals and they were not allowed to touch hers, many of her clients had a sexual response on their end at least to it. And a lot of her clients did cross sites, like started as cuddle clients or sub clients and ended up as the other. But she did eventually have to choose between the two as her dom work was a conflict for the site . So now she's no longer on CC. And for her that was the right thing to do.

    I have been reporting men who use a naked or half-naked photo as their profile picture. Sometimes their hands are obviously doing something but cropped.
    Those pictures are removed but the guy stays.
    When someone’s username is sexual and they have a half naked photo (or worse) why isn’t it obvious to the Mods that the guy is looking for sex? He would have no reason to show himself that way if he wasn’t.
    Again my question is, why do these people remain on the site? A few are banned but most stay. I save each one that I report to favorites so I check back. The offensive pic is gone so I know that guy has been removed.
    Thanks for clarifying and as always I appreciate the hard work you all do. There’s so much of this here, has to be exhausting!

    When it's photos, if it breaks the rules by being suggestive, they get a warning issued when the photo is removed. If they then upload similar photos they will be banned. Though in some cases the user removed the photo before we see it so that report may be skipped since we can't see a history of photos that had been uploaded and then removed. When I issue those warnings, I will check to see if they are being non-platonic in their profile or messages. If I don't find anything, that's when the warning sticks but they are not banned (at least not yet). But it really depends on the photo because some guys are just shirtless, but others are obviously naked out of frame and those usually result in a ban; at least from the reports I have seen.

    I’m referring to the ones without clothes. Since you can’t cuddle naked or even shirtless according to the TOS then they are breaking the rules. But they are given a lot of leniency and they stay.
    Is “just shirtless “ in their bathroom or in bed ok? It wasn’t before but now it is?
    Also people have said in the forum that Mods can see history even when removed so apparently that’s incorrect.
    Maybe if I could get clarification right here in the forum that posting photos without shirts on - not at the beach or pool - if those are OK then I will stop reporting. Because I was told at one time that shirtless is not OK.

    The site TOS states:

    Profile photos
    We have strict rules for what photos you are allowed to upload to your profile.

    You agree to only upload photos of yourself that are fully clothed. Your photos cannot be suggestive whatsoever, even to a mild degree (e.g. focus on the cleavage). You must avoid potentially offensive poses or gestures (e.g. the middle finger). Your primary photo should be of you, not someone else.

    Dick pics and nudes are insta-ban. As @charliebear mentioned, flagged pics (usually shirtless guys) get the photo removed with a warning. Most of them get a clue quickly that 1) this is a platonic site and 2) they upload clothed pics, but there are just as many Pros and wannabe Pros that post pics with very poor judgement.

    We go around and around with pics for years: what about beach pics? What about gym/flexing pics? We refer everyone back to the TOS: "You agree to only upload photos of yourself that are fully clothed."

    Any photo where someone is "just" shirtless is reportable, no matter where they are. Though they will probably get a warning unless they are naked.

    And yes, that is incorrect. the only photos we see are the ones on someone profile, and ones we removed.

    @RiverRoseCuddle I think at least some of the guys who try to get non-platonic here do it precisely because it's against the rules. They want that "thrill of the forbidden" and to feel like they're getting away with something. They won't get that hiring a sex worker.

    It gets very complicated with photos, because we have all seen plenty of photos of someone “fully clothed” who was effectively naked (Jennifer Lopez’s Green Dress as an example.)

    And when you get into “suggestive” now the mods are dealing with individual cultural and religious differences in perception.

    And, of course, all of this is interwoven with trying to convince a bunch of semi-anonymous monkeys to ignore one of their primary motivating instincts and be nice to each other.

    Which an exceedingly small percentage of said monkeys are able or even willing to do.

    As far as clothing is concerned, that word suggestive can be defined so many different ways by different people. I mean, speaking of men being shirtless we could go through women pro photos and find many suggestive photos that should probably be banned, but they aren’t. Just my two cents.
