Just keep moving on if the pro charges too much for your budget. Pretty simple concept. Do you get upset and start threads like Lambo vs. Camry when you drive past dealerships? You have choices you make when adulting, and if you do not like their prices just go to another individual. You will never know why the price is what it is because there are as many reasons as there are pros. You have free will to choose according to your needs and surprise, pros have free will to charge according to their needs.

In this case, it's less about supply and demand. Supply and demand work on the idea you're trying to get optimal sales.
In a personal service like this, the price is also based on how much it's worth it to the cuddler for the trouble. If you dislike cuddling strangers, you might charge more to make it worth it for YOU. Would most cuddlers cuddle for 70/hr? Who knows.
Everyone has the right to charge what they want. Obviously, the market isn't good for $200/hr but I've seen it happen. Personally, I'm not sure how much I'd charge to cuddle other men. It wouldn't be 100, might not be 150. Thanks for the discussion topic 👍
My thought is, where supply meets demand.
That said, some of the really high hourly rates are certainly a red-flag that the provider doesn't belong here. Caveat emptor, and keep the "report" option handy.
There are some assholes who will pay 600 dollars an hour to cuddle just because they can. There is an illusion of quality. Like how a restaurant will charge 300 dollars for the same exact steak that the restaurant down the road is selling for 35. Certain people will insist on the 300 steak every time because of the perceived quality. And because they can afford it so they believe it puts themselves into a certain class. Not to compare cuddles to food or human beings to steak, but itis an analogy and its the same concept. And ultimately they can charge as they wish, and you can hire who you like.
And some pros are happy to have only a very small number of regular clients and so charge more to discourage others.
Some of you are miss understanding the thread I am sure the person realize you can charge whatever you want and they are not upset lol. My two cent is I think those that charge a lot don't really want to cuddle,
Really you're just making assumptions then. You don't know why unless the person tells you why.
I’ve talked with some pros that charge $200-$300 an hour and some have said they chose that higher number because they have a full time job so if someone does book them for a one or two hour cuddle once a week or so, it’s more worthwhile for them as opposed to being bogged down with multiple messages for bookings if she were a lower price.
I think some people need to reread the OPs thread..specifically the very end. They are asking for thoughts and opinions. Not "I think it's too expensive" etc. OP is not complaining.
They are asking for thoughts and opinions.
And my opinion is they are implicitly complaining about pricing by starting a thread questioning the rates. And it is questioning the rates when the title is $100 cuddle vs. $200 cuddle.
Why someone charges that much is a useless exercise in speculation without the person here to explain. One person insinuated they are sex workers which is a slanderous accusation that most pros despise regardless of their rate.
I used to charge as low as 35/hr for my first couple of months. Then I realized that it was net negative for me. It takes me about an hour before a session to get ready and an hour after a session to get un-ready, with an average of 80mins total travel time. So that's 3.5 hours I wasn't factoring into my bookings. And I make 80/hr from my day job, so it stopped making sense.
Once you get over the 100/hr threshold, the differences in quality can be vast. It mostly just depends on if cuddling is someone's primary profession or just something on the side.
I only do $0 cuddles but I bring homemade cookies lmfao
Saw a $500 cuddler yesterday lol
No chance id remotely consider that. 80-120 is about the sweet spot.
I know there's supply and demands, but when someone is asking for $200 with like very few or no reviews... Thoughts? Comments? Complaints? Suggestions? Winning lottery numbers?

My thoughts are simple. I can afford to pay the $100/hr rate, but not the $200, so I'll never have useful feedback on pros at that price point.
Personally, there are pro cuddlers in my area with fees in the $150-200 range. When I decided to raise my rate by $20, that was a factor. I also realized there were new pros around who were earning the same hourly rate as myself, so as the boss I decided I was due a merit and experience increase! I don't think I could see myself with rates as high as $200. Unless I traveled and did magic tricks 😆
Pro cuddler here. I've been on the platform for almost a month now and I agree that any professional can set their own rate based on varying factors. I set mine at $80 for a few reasons: I genuinely enjoy cuddling, creating a client base of regulars, and make it feasible for clients outside my area if I need to charge for traveling.
Moving to Mega thread on price discussion.
@DonLonG
You truly understand the value of both time and money. Your perspective is refreshingly wise—recognizing that everything has a cost, whether it's measured in hours or dollars, is something many overlook. Instead of judging how others spend their resources, you see the bigger picture of efficiency and personal priorities. Well said!
I used to make my cuddles incredibly affordable actually. My cuddles were only 60 and hour. But i found that cuddlers that interacted with me the most still wanted to negotiate for me to go lower. On top of that, people flake and i work full time. Theres a a lot that goes into preparation especially when you work full time. So to be honest, I started raising rates because i would rather have people take it seriously. i also come with a clinical and psychological expertise since I'm a social worker. When my rates went up the quality of clients went up. So i kept raising my rates. If people took this seriously and didn’t flake constantly I would have kept my rates at 80. I felt that 80 was the most fair, i just received too many messages from people who would never book anyway when my rates were lower.
So to put it short…too much time is wasted from cancellation and flaking, for the lower rate to be worth it financially. I feel that a higher rate gives damage control.
I will say for myself, I charge what I do as a pro because I host and it’s a lot for me to allow someone into my personal space. I actually enjoy cuddling, talking, and connecting with my clients as well.
Feel like the professionals want money more than a connection. Nobody host in Chicago, have to pay high rates, I have to pay for hotel, and I see some of y’all saying pay for yall transportations. Smh. I’m differently feeling discouraged
I honestly haven't booked a session in a couple years due to how high the prices have gotten.
Im not sure how many people can afford a a session for $150 an hour, which is the norm where i live. Maybe professional cuddling is now more of a thing for wealthier people lol
Anyways, I think it's a bubble waiting to pop at some point. The prices keep getting higher and higher, and while people may still be booking now. I feel like at some point we're gonna reach a limit where no one is going to see it as affordable anymore
A service is only worth as much as people are willing to pay for it.
@Ripley54566 I agree in some respects and it makes me sad. I want everyone to be able to feel the experience of safe compassionate space. At the same time, I (and all professionals) need as much as it makes it worth their time). I've watched rates go crazy over the past seven years of being here (I think because of so much advertising about this being an easy way for people to make a lot of money - it's not), and there are still people in the "normal" range, both beginners and experienced professionals (so at least it's still possible to seek those out).
I feel like SOME people charging an arm and a leg either view this as an easy way to make money (as I said, it's not) or don't understand business and how charging that much actually earns them less. While I consider myself unique in way more special reasons than just price, lol, I've definitely been helped by having reasonably priced overnights. They're my favorite, are a lot of fun, and less disruptive to my other responsibilities.
There are costs and effects to any pricing decision, and I don't think everyone fully understands that (some do obviously). With any business, I always suggest people charge that magic number that's both enough so it feels like a comfortable exchange and also not so much that you would regret losing business for less. That's the sweet spot...

From the photos of the high priced pros, they look like they’re selling more than cuddling. Or they want their customers to think they are.
@Amelie For at least some of them, I feel there is a disconnect. They don't want their clients to think they are, but they want business, and they feel that works. They don't understand that with sex work being illegal (in America), people seeking that service are forced to look for subtle (or not so subtle) indicators that's actually what the person is selling. In this work, you need to do way more than just say you're not in order to have potential clients actually believe you don't, because legally everyone (in America) has to at least say they don't... 🤷♀️
That's one reason I am for legalization. You aren't going to stop people from selling, you're not going to stop people from buying, making it legal would help keep everyone involved safer.
@amalie @ubergigglefritz
I think the larger issue is tied into many years of women being made to feel objectified, and that their bodies and appearances are the primary things that will get them anywhere in the world. I feel if they weren't treated as sex objects for majority of their adult lives in any given situation and misogyny weren't normalized as it is then you wouldn't see this as often.
Plus I really don't like the idea of slut shaming due to your appearance or pics or clothing. Not gonna say that it never means that there is more going on than meets the eye in some cases. I'm not naive. However the automatic assumption they are kinda borders on the defense of sexual assault being the woman's fault for looking like a harlot. It's a very dangerous assumption in my opinion. You can't base an accusation on the fact that some people have different body types with varying degrees of modesty. Lots of subjectivity and implications based off opinion.
@pmvines While it is never the victim's fault when violence is actually acted upon, it is a professional cuddler's CHOICE to do this work (this is not someone just walking down the street living their life getting blamed for personal choices), and I believe there is a certain level of responsibility to present oneself in a way that accurately represents the nature of you work (this is true in all businesses, when you don't do this, it's called false advertising or bait and switching). It is marketing, just like any business. Marketing is a complex concept that involves knowing who your ideal clients are, how to attract those ideal clients, how to differentiate yourself from other people in the same business, etc. There are consequences to ALL choices you make in your business, and pictures you choose to use to advertise is no different. It is extremely basic psychology that different pictures will attract different people and will invite different inquiries (on AVERAGE). This is not victim blaming, it's just how business works.
EVERYONE SETS THEIR OWN RATES....
I am completely new here and I put my rates at 100 an hour, plus travel time. I have had many appointment requests, to many that I cannot keep up with honestly. People must understand this is your time, you can set the rate as you please. If cheaper rates work for some there are many cheaper ones. I have seen as low as 60 dollars. If it works for you then it works.
@Amalie if a photo breaks the terms of service, or you suspect the person is offering non-platonic services, please Report them.
However, remember that there are widely differing interpretations of what constitutes 'modest' or 'immodest' attire. The views of say, an elderly Amish person and a 19 year old social media influencer from southern California, are unlikely to align on this point. And that there are plenty of places where a women going topless is just normal and not worthy of note or comment.
In my experience, the style of the photo and that nature of the pose are much better indicators of possible breaches of the terms of service than clothing.
Rate conveys absolutely nothing on this point: most of the sex workers who try to hide here post average rates, and then offer extras for extra payment when the client gets in touch. High rates are frequently used by genuine cuddlers to choke demand. They are also common amongst new professionals who don't really understand what they are doing.
