Meeting in public for cuddles

Hi all, I was curious if there were any suggestions for meeting places in public, that are 1) still fairly private/secluded and 2) offer an area that is conducive to cuddling? I'm aware of parks and movie theaters, but I'm honestly not a huge fan of either of those.

    What comes to mind first is maybe restaurants with booth or bench seating. But might not be able to do full cuddles, more just hand holding or having an arm around the other person. My favorite "public" cuddle was a day spa where we booked a hot tub with a patio. So relaxing and was pretty affordable.

    Cabana at a hotel resort
    Some libraries have study rooms you could reserve
    Swimply is a great app to rent a private hot tub or pool w outdoor space some even have movie screens
    Bonfire at a beach

    @sage91436 never heard of it. Basically a vrbo for pools and backyards?

    Are the owners still around or do they vacate?

    And to the OP’s question, as cool as that idea is (thanks sage!) it seems more of a rented hosting than a public. Folks that prefer public may not like it.

    @lovingspoonfull That's exactly what I wanted to say, people most likely choose "public" so there are other people around.

    I'd suggest a bar, an arcade, a theme park, a skate rink, a bowling alley, a shopping center, a beach ... plenty options.

    I personally like @sage91436 s and @SweetCuddlesAni s ideas of a cabana or day spa.

    Bonus if there’s a big ol’ hammock. 😇

    Most of the options mentioned seem workable, except (for me) the movie theater. I talk too much during cuddles for that. No reason to ruin the movie for others.

    I am planning to try a drive in theater though. Before the last of them close down. 😕

    Depends on where you live but here are a few ideas:
    Indoor: Coffee shops, maid cafes
    Outdoor City: waterfall walls, botanical gardens, pool, jacuzzi
    Outdoor Landscape view: you are lucky just walk outside
    Mix: observation decks.

    @lovingspoonfull yes it’s exactly like vrbo… the owners are usually in the house and out of site. I have not used it with a cuddle client yet, but have rented pools for a few hours with friends and rented a hot tub for a date night with a friend. It’s a brilliant idea.
    Oh I love a good drive in … haven’t been to one in decades that’s a great idea.

    Resortpass is another great app … use it for renting cabana’s.

    There’s also a place here called “wi spa” that has tons of lil places to get some semi privacy and places to sit in and outdoors. It’s a Korean style spa. I would love to have public cuddles there

    @sage91436 huh. Interesting that they they’d be home. Makes sense but I could see awkwardness. “Hey, yeah, we’re two strangers here to use your pool. And cuddle. Here’s the cash, don’t mind us”. 😂 now I’m totally going to do that.

    I remember drive ins almost having a festival / block party flair. Used to really enjoy them.

    I found one here in metro Phoenix. One for a city of almost 5 million people… going the way of the dinosaur.

    @lovingspoonfull that’s sad about drive ins … i lived going as a kid with family and as a teenager with friends.

    I know when I lived in Michigan there was a couple parks in the summer that showed movies on the lawn. Here in LA I’m told they have them in parks and on some rooftops as well.

    @sage91436 i looked - the one here is part of a chain. They have three in California, but all in the north.

    Hopefully you can find some in SoCal and enjoy the nostalgia!

    Hot tub cuddles is against TOS and no cuddling in swim suits per the site rule is what I’ve read.
    Also a Pro who i know personally was offering hot tub cuddles and was banned for it.
    @CharlieBear @Sideon please confirm because I don’t want to post incorrect info.

    @g_w_t_w I had a client who had booked me for a cuddle- before the first meeting, they asked if I would go in the hot tub with them. I wasn’t comfortable with that, so declined. And ended up cancelling the session as they had other red flags. They were not banned after that, as far as I know.

    @g_w_t_w I'm curious to see how they weigh in. I looked and saw nothing in the agreement; I have seen other posts (including the FAQ link I posted above) about water cuddles, like river floats, beaches, etc.

    I personally like the idea since it can get pretty hot here, 😎 but I would agree with @TheGypsyCuddler that personal comfort should govern and judgment should be used before trying.

    If you cuddle in a hot tub you are already in hot water.

    @lovingspoonfull exactly- it’s the personal comfort for both people. And it was more a dealbreaker for him, so that had other connotations, and that’s why it was a concern for me. As I didn’t know him. And he had several red flags!

    I've cuddled at the beach way before I knew about this site. I don't understand the difference between cuddling in water and cuddling surrounded by air. You don't have to be in a bikini to be in the water. Not sure how it is viewed as something sexual in this site. I guess I won't be going to the Galveston beach cuddling event in April.

    As to the rules, I will follow the rules on here regardless if I agree with them or not.

    @BellaXochilt I wouldn’t let that stop you from going to a meet and greet. Heck the last one had a hot tub at the hotel and several people were in the hot tub and an orgy did not break out. Do what you feel comfortable with not what someone who is speculating about the rules says. Platonic is platonic regardless of the location.

    As far as CC rules, I mean let's be practical, who's gonna jump in a hot tub with clothes on. And once you allow bathing suits then people will ask why not bra and underwear cause what's the difference? It's just another step closer to a Brazzers scene and the line needs to be drawn somewhere.

    In reality , based on comments made by members in the past and how mods reacted (or not) i can conclude that this is not strictly enforced and I will be shocked if not happening regularly.

    The slippery slope argument does not sway what platonic means. There can be all sorts of slippery slope arguments about cuddling in or on a bed. To me the slippery slope argument is more of a “here is where my will power breaks down” argument.

    I think CC sees it as keep it platonic. I do not think they sit around thinking of what ifs. If so, there would be more stringent policies. I believe they are trusting people to be adults and abide by the rules and report violations.

    But I also know that many states have the death penalty and murders still increase. The point is there will always be the demographic that believe rules and laws are a mere suggestion. So I am not saying a hot tub cuddle does not lead to something else. I am saying that there are those who understand platonic and those who don’t. And no matter what you say not to do they will do it anyway….much like my youth.

    I mean, my furry dad bod is kinda hard to resist once I put my swim skimmies on so I can see where it could cause a crisis or conscience
