I am not sure if anybody has mentioned this before but maybe a search bar for the forums? I want to know if something has been talked about before I share or create a new post about it. lol make sure there aren't so many repeat topics and threads. if there isn't a search method already.
I think there needs to be more outreach, there is hardly anybody on this site. (At least where I live)
@Mark On my mobile (Android), the main menu at the top left has stopped working for me when I'm on the forum (nothing happens after pressing it). The same menu works OK from the home page.
Same
It's fixed (might need to clear your browser's cache). Thanks for letting me know.
There was a recent bug that would prevent you logging in, leaving you no option but to reset your password. This has now been resolved. Sorry for the inconvenience.
^^^ Glad to hear it wasn't me! After having to reset my password twice, I was half-convinced I was becoming senile and just couldn't remember it! LOL
Please improve the inbox system. I have many active conversations going on and it is very difficult to keep them organized. There needs to be an inbox and archive so I can archive once I've replied, clearly displaying which messages I still need to respond to. The current system really encourages going off the site where we can better organize and keep track of messages :-(
I've added that to the list now.
Never realized that so many spammers are coming in now lol maybe they've always have been, and just realizing it now? Maybe required to show a paper with the name of the website on it?
@Mark, I read a mention by Jenna here https://www.cuddlecomfort.com/forum/discussion/3412/cuddling-experiences#latest around inappropriate use of words or language. Aren’t there some software website features around vulgar language usage that can detect messages having such language and mark them for moderator review and appropriate action? I am surprised if what Jenna mentioned on other post happens too often at all on this site? It might be good idea, if not already to create a vulgar word list or something to be monitored on every message for tagging them for review and appropriate action.. just a thought!
Yeah, might do that at some point for extremely bad language. Anything less would likely give too many false positives.
I am pleased I took the time to open this thread because for professional reasons I don’t have any photos up beside my cats.
So the idea that I can make a photo available specifically to someone and restrict viewing ability etc is a very good thing indeed.
I opened this thread and was simply going to ask of this and stumbled upon the fact it has been added so thanks.
Is there a way to organize or order your profile photos? If i want to change order of what photos should be shown? I have to delete and insert in chronological order? Is that the only way or I can reorder easily existing photos without deleting and reuploading?
There isn't at this time, sorry.
For the last couple of weeks, logging off the site has become a two step process. The first time I select Log Out from the drop down menu, I’m redirected to the home page, and then I can repeat my Log Out request and I’m out. It’s not really a problem, but a quirk.
Is there a reason message/text box of Inbox does not allow some of the similar formatting feature as forum message/text box? I.e. ability to send link that has hyperlink for anyone to easily click instead of copy+paste link or have emoticons or similar? Simplicity is always good when messaging but curious if there is a driving reason to not add some basic formatting features especially hyperlink ability?
I'm sure someone already mentioned this, but it would be nice to have a feature where you can search cuddlers by username :-)
@mickcuddle That bug should now be fixed. It relates to a recent change that makes sure that logging out also logs you out of the forum too. Before they were not fully synced.
And while we're on the topic, de-activated accounts will now have their forum emails disabled until they return.
@cuddlekat30 If you already know the username, you can just enter it straight after cuddlecomfort.com/ in your browser.
Please consider maxing the cost of an hour of cuddling at 100 for the web site. There are very few active cuddles in my area and one is at 120 an hour. I understand it is not always comfortable to be a professional. But that is outrageous to be double the price of an average hour massage.
@moon30 - The website has no connection with fees and has no influence on them. Professional cuddlers here are all independent contractors and are free to set their own prices.
@Mark, Is it just me or since this evening the site has been very slow? Especially forums take forever or even give SSO time out errors?
I'm not aware of anything but there certainly could have been a period of poor performance. Hopefully it isn't a regular thing.
@Mark, thanks! Yeah it’s fine now
Honestly I think it would be bad for this to become a household name, America's just too prideful in its old Christian ways for it not to be misunderstood and ostracized, yet too Jerry Springer for it not to turn into some strange fad/fetish where people take it overboard and turn it into a repulsive stigma. Some things should remain outside of the mainstream.
As far as the site goes,
How about points? The more on going conversations you have, the more you gain points, and you can redeem them to cuddle with pros with real money.... just joking lol
The one thing i would like to see is when u block a user u must provide the reason and also a message be emailed out to the user to be informed..
@Bossman27703 I’ve sometimes come across somebody of interest and gone to their profile only then to realize I’ve read it before, maybe a few times. I block them so I won’t bother them anymore. It’s not worth notifying them that I’m not going to bother them. See? I’d be bothering them again.
@mickcuddle I can respect your opinion I was talking about for me since I recently went through this ,I would like know why was blocked....Appreciate the feed back !
@mickcuddle If they are a person of interest to you and you block them then aren't you preventing a person of interest from potentially contacting you? Not only can you not message them but once blocked you don't see their profile even so they wouldn't see yours limiting your potential of getting to know one another
