I feel like I would get too hot unless the AC was blasting.
Edit: Though I am near the desert and it gets really hot.

@xandriarain I don't actually, sorry. 😔 There are guys that are totally into cars and can tell you make/models of anything; I am afraid I am in the complete opposite side of that spectrum. If I were ever kidnapped and some put me in a car and I got away, I would not be able to tell you what it was.😅

@xandriarain our company has several ford transit vans, cargo and passenger equipped.
The motor and drive train are solid. Surprising power with the v6 eco boost. Good maneuverability. Air is good, not great, but with good tint they work well even in Arizona.
Overall their maintenance history has been positive for us.
I have no experience with conversions to RV so can’t speak to that, only that they’re a good solid option for commercial vans.
I could not compare them to other options, so take my input with a grain of salt. 😎
I would cuddle under the circumstances you laid out. I used to have a conversion van once and slept in it when traveling. Yes, count me in.
