Wat makes a *perfeeel?ct " hug? Is there such a thing as a "bad" hug? How did either experience make you feel?

The worst hug I got was when the man I was hugging started pulling on my bra strap. Obviously it was supposed to be platonic so the advances were unwanted. It wasn't during a cuddling session.

Sighs ...That was the last time I went to a church, and now that I am an old and not so attractive 45 yr old woman, I don't regret ever returning to a church unless it's for a clothing drive or food pantry donations.☝️😞

To me, a perfect hug is 10-15 seconds long with someone that has great hygiene and platonic intentions and self awareness. They know they are there to give and receive all the serotonin needed to get through another day
The best hug I had it was like our bodies fit together perfectly like two shapes fitting together to make one shape with some type of magnet attraction that kept them together
CIBOPHOBIA & ENTOMOPHOBIA WARNING BELOW And the worst hug I had felt like they did it but didn't really want to do it and it just felt so forced, I hated it, and just stopped wanting to hug people for a while after that, it was like drinking milk you think is fresh but it was expired and had live maggots in it that you felt moving around until you finally got spit it out but some sadly stayed cause you still drank some before you noticed (sorry for the imagery but this is what it felt like)
Only imperfect hugs are ones that are unwelcome.

A perfect hug is one that is tight, warm, and welcoming. I've had a bad hug before at a funeral unfortunately. ...it was a half a hug, with the sense of ungratefulness 😳😲 Was just trying to show my condolences and I felt as if they were thinking, " Why are you hugging me?" The bad thing was I looked after this person everyday after getting off from my 2 jobs and this person's son, whom lived with him and his brother, who live 2 doors down, didn't really do much to care for him. So I was rather shocked at the behavior to say the least.
I would like to think that a perfect hug involves me in one way or another

For me, the perfect platonic hug starts with hugging someone who cares about me as a friend and I them. This means that the hugs can get better with regular practice. 🥰
@Katota That unfortunately doesn't surprise me AT ALL. I haven't set foot in a church in close to 20 years because I've never felt more judged or pushed into competition more in my entire life 😮💨.
A good hug is one you can melt into.
The perfect hug to me is when it’s with someone that takes you at face value, no ulterior motives, truly enjoys your presence and opens up wholeheartedly and embraces you like it could be the last. We hug in my family so it’s an energy boost. Heart chakra reset.

There were other incidents that occurred at other churches that I attended, but THAT cut out any and ALL future "Sunday services" for me. 👎😤
Clothing drives and Food Pantries are the only useful reasons for me to enter a church now, especially with feeding and clothing a kid without a lot of financial support.😏
In that regard, churches and churchy people are helpful. 😊👍

The best hug I ever got was on the very first date I had with a lady when, upon arriving at her house, she came down the steps after just getting out of the shower, wearing skimpy shorts and a tank top. She met me at the next-to-last step with a tight hug that lasted over 15 minutes without a word being said! That's perfect in my book.

With all the check boxes (consent and communication of course), I know at a Cuddle party I attended I really enjoyed the melting hug. It is something you move into together but basically you both hug, practice breathing and letting go together, and slowly allows you to fall into one another. Can be done standing or just laying down too. Great connecting 😊
