I've been wondering if it'll be a good idea to just put the exact area of where I live instead of just pinpointing one big area so I can just have bookings with local cuddlers but how safe would that actually be ?
First and foremost you are responsible for your own safety, so follow your gut over any advice.
I would not reuse any pictures you use for cc with any other social site like FB, nothing is fool proof but it can reduce reverse image search tying you to sites that may have additional data.
Chicago and it's suburbs is a big area so to me it would make sense for you to pinpoint a landmark and give a radius you are willing to travel or to give an idea of travel cost since you mention you expect compensation for an Uber as part of the booking. Seems reasonable for a client to have an ideas of what they are signing up for, of course that could be a discussion after they reach out but that might mean Fielding more questions that don't lead to bookings.
Since you are new to the site and community I would be more cautious and you can always add more details, but harder to put toothpaste back in the tube so would err on side of caution.
There are some people specific forums probably good to go read up on what has already been discussed.

I agree with @TeddyBear4u2024 . Also, since you mentioned California as a 2nd location (significantly far from Chicago…ha ha), I’d list a rough timeframe for when you’re in each city.
Definitely would suggest safety first, especially since you’re new.

It's best to at least put the nearest major city to you. If you put someplace random your account could be banned as a possible fake. If you are going to be traveling between cities, you can list multiple but it's good to list dates when you'll be in the other city.
If you don’t host maybe use the county which is bigger. I’m in Chicago and you passed my pro filters. Yet we’re too far. Since you don’t host, I’d have to get a hotel room. So it helped me.

There are a few of us that list the largest city closest to us. Like me for instance I have Columbus Ohio but actually I live out in a rural area approx. 35 + miles away.
My actual location name doesn't exactly give off those um ...cozy , welcoming vibes lol😁 While not giving my "embarrassing"name location, here are a few others that people probably might not want to list :
Climax, Georgia😬 Buttzville, New Jersey😆 Plentywood, Montana🙃
