Have you ever read a newly posted discussion in the forum only to think, "What? How random. Is this person just starving for the validation that comes from having others respond to his/her OP?"

Oh, wait ... this just might be a self-fulling prophecy of sorts.

    There have been a few threads that sort of made me wonder, but since I think it's okay for people to post random thoughts, I just click past..

    Coming out of a dark, cold, lousy @ss winter season, I could understand why people might wish to draw others into conversation, no matter how seemingly irrelevant. We humans are groupers, and as quiet as it's kept, we like interacting with one another!! :)

    Sometimes, though, the folks here really come through for the Original Poster, and offer real insight, tenderness, humor, and connection... and then it becomes obvious that many of us really are here in order to make contact---even if it is only cyber! lol
