Fun fact. I saw AFI play in my friends old record store for 5 bucks about 30 yrs ago. Back when they were still a skate punk band. I wasn't that familiar with them at the time but they put on a hell of a show. In fact the following night my old band played the same store. Really would have been cool to play the night before so I could have shared the bill with them lol. I wish I had talked myself into grabbing one of their long sleeve shirts, I'm sure that it would be worth a fortune on eBay.
Another fun fact is when I was in 9th grade Green Day played a local house party along with a bunch of other no name bands . What a fun time to have been a punk
@pmvines I have a similar story with Alien Ant Farm and Papa Roach. When Alien Ant Farm went big with their one hit cover my sister was SOOOO pissed at me because I didn't buy their burned CD when they played our community center. I bought the shirt for the no name band "silence" because their singer was cute. LOL. On a side note AFI specifically their Sing The Sorrow album was my favorite album of all time when I was emo. "This Time Imperfect" especially. I almost kicked a client out of my house for having gone to the Sing The Sorrow Anniversary concert. The jealousy was nearly unbearable. lol Jerk sitting there showing me the pictures of him and Davey Havok. Just mean.
