When I'm looking through the accounts, looking for people to cuddle, and I see that one of their preferred times is night (see the pic), what does that imply? A sleepover scenario? I'm kinda confused, and would like some clarification.
Hey guys, I am 100% new here, and I'm looking through the menus, setting up my account, etc. There's one thing I noticed though, and that's the "night" setting on the time frame, and I just have to wonder, what does that imply? Would I be full-on sleeping over, or kicked out in the middle of the night (probably not this), or what?
What? Lol no. It means your screen will be darker. So black screen with white writing.
No, as in, when you're looking for people to cuddle, the time frames are morning, afternoon, evening, or night, and I want to know what night implies
You mean "light" setting, dark versus light reading mode, I'm assuming? From your profile settings....

My apologies, @jacobite06 . I had not actually noticed that in profiles before! Evening and Night mean the same thing to me. I so not think overnight is suggested or assumed here.
When in doubt, ask what the person means?

It just means they prefer or are more available in the evening /night time. I really wouldn't read anything into it other than that
I think night just means maybe around 8-11 PM. It seems that overnight is usually clearly stated and only done after at least 2 regular hourly sessions.
In my experience, evening generally means before 9 and night is post 9 PM. That is what I thought and have had partners who think the same thing. Evening is like early night time.
But it’s a general belief and not a fact in anyway.

See my evenings cut off at 825 with a 5 min intermission , then night time at 830 but I'm a bit of an early bird
I see evening as after 5 but before 8.
After 8, I call that night.
This just means the cuddler is open to late night cuddles, not that it means they necessarily do overnight.

I also agree that evening is generally 5-8 and night is after that. You would need to check in with who you are cuddling with to see their interpretation. I would ask their availability and not "what do you consider evening vs night" lol

Yeah, per that definition. I know it doesn’t track universally.
In reality I’ve always just treated them interchangeably.
I’ve also heard people say things like “10 o’clock in the evening. “
Yeah that’s why I don’t even acknowledge the evening choice. I do not even know why they inserted such a subjective choice, but that is typical of this website regarding profiles—like the children question, relationship status and other rather intrusive questions. If anyone is that concerned, put your hours of availability in your profile or your DM.
Or let us know how your evening went with your first cuddle post divorce talking about kids possibly in the future.

I actually prefer to think of evening as dusk and night is full dark, with stars and insects chirping. And, well, the night is my world.
