I like to cuddle simply because of how it makes me feel. There's not really much else to say. Cuddles legit makes me feel more appreciated than anything else does. It's an acknowledgement that I'm there, that I am actively helping someone feel better, even if it's just for this small window of time. That's why I cuddle. I have yet to find anything that wouldn't be improved by throwing cuddles in the mix.
