What are some good movies out at the moment (new/old)?
One I really enjoyed with Hugh Grant in a suspense /horror genre is Heretic

I would give my honest review of that movie however something tells me that some folks will just be itching to flag it since I am not a fan of this particular sequel or director

If you're in the market for old movies, I'd suggest anything produced by Val Lewton for RKO - The Body Snatcher, Cat People (the original, not the '80s remake), I Walked With a Zombie, Isle of the Dead, Seventh Victim ... all classics.

I would say scary movie 1234 and five are good. Some are old but I just love these comedy movies.
Not really a fan of horror, but I’d echo @pmvines that Hugh Grant is worth a look. He was grossly underutilized as a romantic lead actor. What he’s doing now is better.
He was chilling in that Heretic recommmendation.
He was perfect in his role in The Gentlemen too. Absolutely weasel role; you happily hated him through the whole movie. 😎
I just recently watched Black Widow and was very pleasantly surprised! I also thought Dune was very well done!!! I still have to see the second one! Ford vs Ferrari is another pleasant surprise! Wild Robot was wonderful! I could keep going!!! I love movies!!!

@LKG77 Agreed! Denzel Washington with some of his best work, imo. The Man on Fire throwback in Equalizer 3 was especially satisfying for me.

I saw Sinners a couple weeks ago. A stellar film.
I watched Heretic based on the comments here. I'm not a Hugh Grant by any stretch of the imagination, but he nailed this role. Perhaps the best I've ever seen from him. That said, the first 2/3 of the film was fantastic, but seemed to lose it's luster at the end. Still worth seeing.
Saw Conclave _since it was up for Best Picture (I've seen every film that has one Best Picture beginning with the first winner, _Wings. Thought I'd get a jump on it in case it won.) Some fine acting, and production value was solid, but the story was terribly predictable.
I know people are sick of Marvel Movies, but I thought Thunderbolts was great. It has heartwarming mental health themes.
Everything Everywhere All at Once is one of my favorites!
