I've seen that video at least a few dozen times... it always gets me 😅
In January 897, Pope Formosus, who had been dead for several months, was exhumed in a very advanced state of decay, dressed in papal clothes, placed on a throne and tried for being an illegitimate pope in Rome. He was found guilty, had the three fingers used to bless cut off, clothes ripped apart, and the body was torn into pieces and tossed into the Tiber River.
This was called the Cadaver Synod. In fact, Formosus was executed posthumously, which means not only can you beat a dead horse but a dead pope as well.
And we think organized crime organizations are vicious.
@TheFunCartel I believe that would be considered cruel and unusual punishment.
The famous tree from which the legendary Newton apple fell is still growing at Woolsthorpe Manor today. It is over 360 years old.
The Great Red Spot in Jupiter is so large, 3 Earths can fit in it!
The gravity on Jupiter is about 2.5 times as strong as it is on Earth.
One Earth day is slowly getting longer. Right now it is 86400 seconds long, and it will be 86401 seconds long in a few thousand years from now, and it was only 21 hours long instead of 24 hours around 300 million years ago, and it was only 8 hours when the Earth had just formed 4.6 billion years ago.
The southeastern section of Africa is slowly breaking apart from the rest of Africa, with many new canyons forming along that line in which it will eventually split, and it will be fully split in around 20-25 million years from now!
Scientists at the University of Alberta spent seven years determining that human urine contains 3,079 different chemical compounds.

Bananas are radioactive: They contain a small amount of potassium-40, which is a radioactive isotope, but the radiation is harmless.
@RedFox16 I wonder how many bananas you would have to consume to be affected. Plus you would have yo eat them all at once. Ugh
@RedFox16 raises an interesting point. Radioactivity is everywhere.
Water has radioactive isotopes.
So does the matter dissolved in it. There are allowable limits of radionuclides in drinking water. Those are established by epidemiology models that are based on incident incurrence risk (how many people will get cancer in a population), body mass, and mass of lifetime chronic exposure.
You’d have to drink a lot, but to an extent exposure does stack.
@gem7 A lethal dose is on the order of 100,000 bananas in a short period of time. It has to be a short period of time since it doesn't stick around in the body.
A group of flamingos is called a flamboyance.
Thanks for that answer @IronLemon ! I wasn't having success looking it up LOL
And @gem7 , I think after only 3-4 bananas, a person would have to start worrying about pretty serious constipation!💩😜
Annnnnnnd now I'm a little apprehensive about the fact that radiation is everywhere @lovingspoonfull 🤔
@RedFox16 this will add context, but not necessarily peace of mind. 😇
Some exposure is unavoidable, but managing it and reducing it is a worthwhile approach.

You can't ride two horses with one ass.
@gem7 very zen. You can ride two plane seats with one ass. 🤔
@lovingspoonfull Lol. For sure
Lilith, the supposed first wife of Adam, is said to have red hair. She was ultimately kicked out of the Garden of Eden because she refused to be subordinate to Adam.
No worries though. She ultimately met a guy named Frazier in a Boston Bar.
The difference between a million and a billion is mind boggling... A million seconds is about 9 days, a billion seconds is 31 years.
LAFFING at the ferret "business" and the flamingo "flamboyance," I was today-years-old when I heard that in order for Vitamin D to do its work, we have to have Vitamin K2, Magnesium, and Zinc...but that we shouldn't take Magnesium and Calcium together because they fight each other!! That last part helped me understand why some heart meds are called "Calcium Channel Blockers"...
Also, that Magnesium Stearate is the debbil. I'll be reading the inactive ingredients list on my supplements from now on!!

Pineapples contain an enzyme called bromelain that starts breaking down the proteins in your mouth while you’re eating them. You’re basically digesting the pineapple while it’s also digesting you. 😅
@BrokenWillow This fact is half the reason pineapples are my favorite fruits.
