Hello, I'm Jo.

I'm the founder of Rooted Healing, based in Ombersley, Worcestershire, where I offer professional, platonic touch and cuddle therapy in a calm, private therapy space designed to help people slow down, reconnect, and experience safe human connection.

For over twenty years my career has centred around supporting people through challenge, change and emotional pressure. Working across leadership, care and people-focused roles, I came to recognise something simple but profound: many people aren't lacking advice, they're lacking a space where they can simply be accepted without expectation or judgement.

Discovering professional cuddle therapy brought those values together perfectly. Through clear boundaries, ongoing consent and nurturing, platonic touch, I help people experience the sense of safety and connection that can be so easily lost in modern life.

Clients come to me for many different reasons. Some are feeling isolated or touch-deprived. Others are navigating burnout, anxiety, grief, major life changes or the effects of chronic stress. Some simply want to experience genuine, respectful human connection in an environment where nothing is expected of them.

Every session is tailored to the individual. We begin with a conversation about boundaries, comfort levels and what would feel most supportive for you. Consent is an ongoing conversation throughout the session, and you're always free to change your mind, adjust positions or stop at any point.

Professionalism and safety are at the heart of everything I do. Sessions are entirely platonic, fully clothed and conducted with kindness, respect and clear communication. My aim is to provide a peaceful space where your nervous system can settle, your body can soften, and you can leave feeling more grounded than when you arrived.
