Has anybody started off just talking to your cuddle buddy getting comfortable with one another and you develop a crush on them.
@Nikth I imagine it sometimes happens. CC is strictly platonic. If you think that your cuddle buddy feels the same way you may want to talk to them about it. If they are not in agreement then you will have to make a decision.
Truth. I was just looking at the q&a 's and don't remember seeing that question. Thank you for the advice
Absolutely. The first night one of my cuddle buddies came over I found out we had A LOT in common and I instantly wanted to be friends and hangout outside of the cuddle world. By the end of the 2nd session it was a full-on crush. I asked him if he was interested in being friends outside of CC and he said no. It was a bummer but it made it much easier to stay focused. I still had a crush on him but I was given some good advice about not cuddling too much with any one person. Our cuddle sessions were AMAZING and I'm sure that contributed to the crush. Once I started looking for additional people it helped. If you think it might be mutual, mention it. Great cuddling is all about great communication, after all. But if it's not reciprocated take it for what it is, compartmentalize the cuddling if you can, and keep looking for more partners.
Thank you for the advice.
Yes it can happen. I fell in love with myself during a cuddle session in Poughkeepsie, NY. Let me tell you, letting yourself down easy is in no way easy, especially when you are told by yourself that you were the rebound guy.
It happens. How can it not? You both have put energy into developing this safe space, exposing your vulnerabilities and respecting one another’s boundaries. The likelihood of developing a “crush” or more intense feelings for your cuddle partner is understandable.
It happens and it is okay. The KEYS are communication and honesty and continuing to respect those boundaries.
My two cents based on personal experience.
You bask in the warmth, lulled into a fleeting illusion that there’s something more, something deeper. But then reality cuts through the haze. Your cuddle buddy is here for one reason: a transaction. They’ll play the part, make you feel cherished, special, even adored, all to ensure you return for another session. It’s a calculated dance, obey the unspoken rules, and the illusion persists. Break them, and the truth is laid bare: it’s just business.
@InfiniteJoy That is the case with Pro's who are here for money and not because they care about people. It's not the case for Pro's who have genuine hearts, or for female enthusiasts. We do not collect money whatsoever.

@SunsetSnuggles Totally understand
@InfiniteJoy I hope you find meaningful connection here. 🫂
I think it’s good to have several cuddle buddies in case this starts to happen. Developing a crush can happen especially when you’re running on high emotions after a session but I understand it’s just that, although with some it is much greater than with others.
@TheFunCartel that's hilarious 😂
I love when you hit it off with a cuddle partner and have a great connection. It's the best! It's so rewarding to feel truly appreciated and you help them feel that also.
I think having multiple partners is a great way to circumvent this, but of course this is something that you would need to discuss with them if it became an issue. We are all human after all! Communication and respect is so important ❤️
Not I. 😊
But some cuddlers have, just not I. 😏
It can happen. I’ve seen it happen. It’s the main reason I have gone to different professionals
I rarely meet and cuddle someone who I wouldn't already consider a friend
Thank you everyone for the advice
Of course; we’re all human. I’ve definitely had crushes at first sight. I tap into a person’s energy right away so I already know. But I do find that I’d much rather not continue to cuddle with them.
For the male cuddlebuddy, how long did it take you to get a client?
@brownteddy123 You mean for a male pro to get a client? Unless the pro is willing to cuddle men too, he'll get next to no business.
I find myself in a strange scenario:
If I cuddle with someone and find we have a lot in common then I’ll want to cuddle more, and keep in contact. HOWEVER, if I have a great conversation before the cuddle It’ll make cuddling more difficult. At that point I don’t want to be a disappointment.
@brownteddy123 Unfortunately @WriterGF is correct. Male pros don’t really get business unless they are willing to cuddle other men.
@InfiniteJoy yeah absolutely don't go to a pro if you don't like the contract rules. 🤨 Its fine to get a crush on the partner you work with... I have for a split second with one of mine but you are right when you go to a pro it is a business and you know what you signed up for because you read a contract. Its literally illegal to push those boundaries so....🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ other participants in this site may be more ok with whatever it is you are looking for. You wouldn't put someone you liked or cared about in a position to 1. Lose income 2. Get in legal trouble. You can't meet a gf as a pro period. This is a platonic site.... Its normal to get crushes.. for sure it can make cuddling more intense but keep a healthy perspective and boundaries. Good luck I hope you find what you are looking for.
Falling in love 😭😭😭😭😭
OP deleted their account. My observation is that it's more likely to see crushes when one of the parties is newer to CC. It makes me think of the term "rookie mistake"
Always remember that no matter how well you get along, the root of the relationship ship between a client and a pro, is business.
I clicked in with the wrong idea..lol It happens!
I've had a cuddle buddy whom I GENUINELY LIKED. He was kind, warm, funny, full of fun stories, and he was respectful and careful with me. I ADORED him!! He was married, and spoke of his commitment to honor his own vows... Beautiful!
We agreed that we could "be there" for one another, WITHOUT it going any further. I was grateful for him, for his warmth, his humor, his Touch that made allll of the "distance" go away... But that was all. We both understood the assignment lol
In all honesty, though, there was one with whom I ALMOST felt worried!! Our correspondence was SO FIRE that I realized it would PROBABLY BE BEST if we were NEVER in the same room at the same time!! lol So, having come to a realization of what the title actually meant, I have to agree with the posters above about transparency and honoring boundaries. This IS a PLATONIC site, after all. And I, for one, am grateful for that..
Cuddle buddies / enthusiasts — Yes.
Pros – No.
I realize the OP has deleted their account. But on topic if the shoe is on the other foot & your cuddle buddy develops feelings for you what can you do? Can a platonic partnership be salvaged? Any suggestions are much appreciated.
@MTex I think just a considerate but firm “no, that’s not in the cards, sorry” should be enough, but I know that’ll sting and you’re at the mercy of their reaction. If you don’t say no in a way that hurts them, they should be able to come down from it, appreciate who you are and that the door forward is closed. Might take a little for the sting to wear off but I think it’s possible for people who respect each other.
I’m not sure there’s any way to ensure an outcome.
I have been hurt so often by so many that to protect myself and what’s left of my emotions I just assume that everybody who i come in contact with wants something from me and god forbid i actually want something back. Cynical and depressing? Yeah…but I have to accept reality on reality’s terms. And whatever it is women want, i ain’t got.
