@Buffy8371 I understand, but I wouldn't even refer them to Cuddle Pros particularly the pros who are here for JUST PLATONIC CUDDLING. π
What if said Cuddle Pro gets sexually assaulted or worse by my "so-called Dudebro referral"? π³
Nah, I can't have that risk on my conscience.π
These dudes still were messaging me. My blocked list finally got maxed out.
Yep, Dudebros are a multi relentless plague, not even BLOCKING stops them completely. π
Didn't even know maxing out one's block list could happen. Lol π
Well, I am sure there likely has been a women only cuddle party. Perhaps you should consider hosting one, if hosting is your thing of course. ππ
@Buffy8371 Oh nevermind, I read your profile and I see that hosting for you is out of the question. My apologies for that last assumption statement.ππ
@WriterGF Why would they be pros? Probably because it's a side gig for them. Kind of like people who drive for Uber in addition to their regular job. Cuddle when time allows for it, but don't worry about it when you can't since you weren't depending on it to pay the rent.
Too bad there canβt be a chick cuddle meet up. Iβm bi. Now that would be fun. Clearly platonic. @Buffy8371
I've known bi pro cuddlers who would definitely love that! @Rezz might have a few suggestions.
Iβve seen pros for years and Iβve never had an issue if they were married or in a relationship. I think the only way that can be an issue is if youβre trying to have more than just a professional relationship with them.
@Morpheus bingo.

Ditto. I also think people are forgetting that just because women say they are single, or single moms, or whatever else, doesn't mean it's true.
The men here have continuously stated that they choose Pro's based on attraction...part of that attraction is the fantasy of the girlfriend experience. That fantasy is broken if the client knows she's going back home to her husband or boyfriend. The Relationship Status on Pro's is automatically blanked out for a reason. π
I would love to believe that all the women here are truthful, but the world, and business, don't work that way.
I've met Pro's here who misrepresented their relationship status, their age, and their sexual orientation, all to attract more male clients.
@JohnR1972 could pull the data on Pro relationship status and kids, if he felt so inclined, but remember, that kind of data is only as accurate as asking a man to measure what's in his pants... When asked to self-measure, the results varied significantly from when measured by researchers who got the cold, hard truth. π

The lovely @justjennn has hosted both women-only, and LGBTQ-only group cuddles. π

You're married, so that makes perfect sense.
You posted: "I think the only way that can be an issue is if youβre trying to have than just a professional relationship with them."
As @WriterGF has pointed out many times, men may not want to cuddle with a woman who's in a relationship, due to the risk of an angry or even violent partner.
Also, speaking for myself, I strongly prefer to cuddle men who are unattached (or whose significant other knows and consents), because I don't want anything to do with going behind a spouse's back and hurting someone's wife.
So it could be non-platonic desires...or looking out for one's safety...avoiding drama...abiding by one's morals...or other reasons I'm sure peeps could contribute.
But yes, as I mentioned in my initial response...no matter the reason, men asking Pro women if they are in a relationship will likely always be seen as a red flag, because most frequently, it's probably the non-platonic dudes asking.
@SunsetSnuggles Is that kind of Intel even available? Do pros, or enthusiasts for that matter, have to divulge that information? And as you said, how reliable is it?
To the point of the OP, there are numerous possible reasons why the pro being married/in a relationship could be an "issue" that has absolutely nothing to do with the client wanting a relationship or "more." I cuddled with a pro where her being married was a significant "issue" ... not for me, but for her. She has since deleted her account. Things aren't as simple as we make them out to be in these forums. It's easy to sit back, pontificate, and be "armchair cuddlers.'

John has pulled fascinating data, before...

Enthusiasts can choose to leave their relationship Status and Children answers blank. I'm not sure if we can leave off a sexual Orientation.
Pro's used to be defaulted to a blank relationship Status. In a recent update, that question now simply does not appear in their Facts section, at all. Neither does sexual Orientation.
I have heard that Pro's can manually answer these so they will appear on their profile, but I have never laid eyes on a single Pro who has voluntarily added their relationship Status.
The Children question remains on their Facts section, but they could also make this blank.
@Immersedwarmth posted: "And as you said, how reliable is it?"
Self-reporting is unlikely to be reliable for a number of reasons. Some list "wrong" answers for perfectly benign reasons. Others to create a false image.
Some things are listed inaccurately for safety...say, listing a big city instead of the tiny town you live in, or being vague about your job if you run your own small business.
I have seen people with older kids say "Doesn't want children"... I mean really, how many people over 35 have you met with zero kids? π§ I, myself, am one of few...
If the data were pulled, it would only include those who voluntarily answered, and then we could only guess as to how many were being truthful. π€·π»ββοΈ
The best policy is that if an aspect like this is important to someone, then get to know your prospective cuddle buddies enough to trust their answers. We can only make our best judgment based on what we know of people.

Yup. I would also add that reliance on information from a profile is sketchy at best and I rely far more on what comes out of pillow talk conversations and confessions. In addition, nearly half of all marriages end in divorce, and that number climbs to over 60% for second marriages. I will never marry again and males are far more likely to remarry than women. In addition, remarriages have been declining for years in the US. Why would CC be immune to these numbers? I assert the number of divorced women, especially those with children, is actually higher among pros because of economics.
I say this because being a pro here is an opportunity for money and I canβt count how many times female pros talk about their exes and when I ask if they ever think they will remarry many say no. Most of this information comes from these women after they have a booking and I have paid. Information flows when people are intimately close and sharing conversation, and I trust this kind of information more than profile information which is shared with anyone who cares to see their profile, including the general public. Besides, most people are worse off after a divorce, and historically women more so than men when divorce occurs, so this is a magnet for women seeking a supplemental income stream. So if half the population over 30 has experienced divorce, I would say that number is even higher for CC pros because divorce is expensive during and after. Even this is a subjective guess, but a more educated guess.
So no one knows for sure. I have been doing this here for 7 years with a large sample size, so I can surmise based on what I have experienced, but even my large sample size is anecdotal and I do not screen for or care about relationship status because it is inconsequential to me. I think a great many are single moms, divorced empty nesters and a few permanent bachelorettes. I stand by the 50-50 split give or take 5-7% either way based on my anecdotal experiences and common sense based on US relationship statistics. I think the money factor skews it higher for singles and single mothers on this site.
Unfortunately, we're all speculating about why this would be a concern of the OP. He's evidently chosen not to comment further on his question.
Most of the pros I'm friends with IRL (not as their client) are polyamorous and likely to be in multiple relationships at any given time LOL.
@frankparker9 Finally someone who knows what's goin' down around here. π π€π»
@TheFunCartel "I take the ace in your name as asexual so I assume reading the way you wrote this as you feel the pro being in a relationship or being married reduces the chance of them booking because it is one more distraction taking away time from their pro gig."
I don't see what you're describing has to do with being asexual π€
I also have no idea what OP means, I hope @Analyticalace89 will clarify π€·ββοΈ
@Krisha I was wondering the same thing about "ace" = asexual. Also, I've understood OP to mean "original poster", by it I could be wrong.
@Krisha a couple of people alluded that the OP might be implying a romantic angle. But if he is asexual then that would most likely not be the case.
@Immersedwarmth Ace is common slang for asexual. There are several on the website.
@frankparker9 Yes there several pros that are poly. But not the majority in my experience. However they are the ones that would most likely participate in activities or friendships outside the parameters of a pro/client relationship. I took one to New England a few years ago. I paid for the plane ticket, food and she cuddled me for free and accompanied me on a couple of excursions. I decided I would not travel with one again unless I knew her better.
@Immersedwarmth
No, you got me wrong.
Ace stands for asexual and I know what OP means.
I meant what he described about "distraction taking away time", why that would be an aces viewpoint π€
And I have no idea what OP means by his post, which point he's making.
@TheFunCartel See this is one of the misconceptions about asexual people, they can definitely crave romance, I would even say majority does. There's a difference between asexual and aromantic.
@Krisha Not sure anyone does, and OP apparently either isn't paying attention to his thread or doesn't want to expand on it.
@Krisha Yea I know. Thatβs why I said most likely. The 3 asexuals I used to know pretty well wanted romantic relationships but they werenβt particularly keen on the sexual component. All three were male. But I am by no means an expert on the subject beyond what bits of information those three threw my way.
@WriterGF Seems like that is the case with about half of the OPs of the threads. Throw it out there then vanish.
@Krisha Ah. Got it. Thanks for the clarification.
I think most new users who start threads aren't the least bit prepared for what can hit them (good, bad, cray-cray, popcorn), when they open themselves up on a well-established public community. ππ€ Hence the slowly backing away.
@SunsetSnuggles great insight (i.e. those new to the forums). While they are technically an open community, it functions practically like a closed/private group. It can be intimidating to the uninitiated.
@WriterGF Yup!
@TheFunCartel π
@Immersedwarmth You're welcome π
It shouldn't be a problem with a pro that does this for a living
