I feel like this is unnecessarily critical of only women for no reason. Pretty much everyone takes mirror selfies in the bathroom. There are usually multiple types of lighting and it's where people get ready for their days.

I think toilets do suggest comfort. People usually feel much better after they've been at one. And since it's generally not a romantic or sexual experience, I think it's fair to say it's usually platonic comfort.
@gem7 or you could invest in one. Some people in the US actually have them. Think about it - automatic seat warmer and dryer, multiple bidet spraying settings including a female area spray setting, and some even play music
