@SunsetSnuggles I visited a friend in Knoxville twice and I still haven’t been to the Smokies. I’ve gotten better in the last year, but I don’t know how far I could walk. Do they have like a driving path that you know of?

@Bear When I was traveling, I lived in Maryville, Tennessee for three weeks, then made my way through Townsend, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg, across the Smokies, and down to Asheville, North Carolina.
The Smokies are absolutely gorgeous! One of only two places in the US that could rival the mountains of Colorado, for me!
It is a subtropical climate, so the emerald green growth everywhere is just stunning. 🌿🌿🌿
Anyway, you can certainly drive through them and get glorious views of the coves, trees, abundant ferns, and mountain vistas, without having to hike. I would highly recommend a joyride of any length, in the area!!
Pigeon Forge is pretty nutso, but if you stop in Gatlinburg, I recommend the Gatlinburg SkyPark. It's basically a ski lift that takes you up a mountain for lovely views. A black bear walked right beneath me, when I was on it. 🐻

Really, really, really want to come out for this, but kiddo and I are leaving on the 11th for a cruise and I don’t know if I can make both trips happen. I’m going to keep thinking about logistics and maybe I’ll get to see some of y’all soon!!!

This is where several CC members (including me ) are staying that weekend. The Hampton folks are pretty friendly about letting us take over parts of the large lobby for Friday and Saturday Socializing . (Think Pizza and Games) The Hotel also has an outdoor pool and a Fire Pit sitting area! Can't wait to see everyone! 🤗
@pmvines is a possible maybe, not a definite just fyi @OhioMike (great of you to make this list and keeping the energy going btw). Still have some life stuff that needs to settle before I'm able to commit to anything.
