I have noticed many fake profiles. Most have 0 karma and the same photo being used in multiple cities. HE anyone had any success on this platform? I am guessing it it is rare.
I've reported one of those. Same profile; different location, but recently joined. Haven't spotted it since.

I think sometimes folks may try to make multiple accounts to use for some purpose. Be cautious!
Genuine folks on here are rare, but worth it when you find them.
Post them on the Inappropriate Profiles sticky at the top of this board, or Report them. What's that quote? The price of security is vigilance, or something.
So far I have found two amazing in person cuddle buddies on here, and two online buddies. I have also met several professionals, all except one of whom were wonderful. Even the one who wasn't wonderful was still a totally genuine account.
So yes, I have been fortunate to have had tremendous success on Cuddle Comfort.
Please flag/report the fake profiles, or message a mod with the account name. Thank you! [-Sid]
I think it depends what you define as "success". I've learned a lot, had some really great conversations, and have felt immense joy at finding others who are like-minded. I consider all of that a success!
I realize I also come from a place of privilege, because I'm educated, can usually hold a conversation, write well, technologically savvy and therefore make a good impression on a site like this. In person, I'm a bit of a weirdo, sometimes socially awkward and have difficulty tolerating most social situations or people.
@CuddleStella I don’t think so, I know so. There was a guy that made what seemed like a profile a day and it would last a week or maybe an hour depending on the outlandish and crude things he said. He was always the same age, always from Michigan, but always a different town. Fake, fake, fake, and fake.
@xelda You just described me to a T 😂. I’ve found most people can relate to my weirdness and awkwardness in person, though. Or at least see past it because I stay sincere and genuine and don’t try to hide my weirdness. Lol
@valkyrievixen yep thats dead on! The number of times I've heard "ya know you're weird but I can deal with you" is easily in the high quadruple digits lol
I haven't noticed fake profiles here yet. I'm disappointed but I guess not surprised to hear there are. When using other sites (for dating etc.), I've seen fake profiles on those sites, and even bots that will start sending messages to you. You can usually tell they're bots when they don't answer questions, say seemingly random stuff sometimes, send you sketchy web site links, and/or start asking you for money.

TONS of fake profiles
Yes, I just had someone contact me and I did that Google photo search, it was all fake. I reported it
I had the misfortune of having a fake account use some of my photos maybe a month back, i always check my visitors tab.
@sillysassy helped me get in touch with a mod to swiftly solve that issue. It was scary tho because i dont know the extent of damage that fake user might have done on the site while mascarading with my face.
Keep an eye out and report or flag anything suspicious, even if the mods dont find anything they will at least check it out. 😌
