Profile Visitors

Hey, sorry to rehash this subject if it's been introduced before, but here goes:
I'm old, thinning (hair wise), carrying a few extra pounds, and am otherwise average, so I can't understand why the people that visit my profile are overwhelmingly male. I don't know whether to be flattered that so many guys want to check me out, or offended because women don't. Don't get me wrong, my cuddle history and experience from this site has been extremely gratifying and therapeutic.
I understand that you pros out there are getting overwhelmingly checked out by members of the opposite sex, but I'm curious as to the rest of you? Who wants to weigh in. 😋

  • Previous threads have indeed revealed that you cannot even begin to guess all the reasons that people might look at your profile.

I think you may get a lot of male visitors because they're checking out your karma trail. You have a lot of karma's and so they probably clicked on you from one of the female partners or vice versa.

I get mostly male visitors. In relation to the amount of visitors I get only a handful actually message me.

I get mostly male visitors too. No idea why. I don't hear from them and they aren't taking up my time, so not on my list of things to worry about.

  • Just based on forum posts most likely. I do it quite often just to get some context on who it is making a comment.

  • This whole thing was kind of tongue in cheek, but I do appreciate the constructive feedback, too. 😊

  • @UncleDave Made me look. You sound like me with being "old" and thining hair. I looked at the karma comments on your page and feel encouraged by the many lovely ladies that appreciate you!

  • When I started responding to posts, I started getting my account viewed by men. Just a thing I guess.

  • I can't tell if i am supposed to look at your profile now or not 😜

If i visit a guy's page it will always be as a result of a forum post. 60-70% of the time it is my phone deciding that I meant a click instead of a drag. The other percentage is a curious "who are you?" type thing.

  • Personally I am trying to build a life size voodoo doll that is representative of everyone on CC so I must gleem as much info from as many people as possible to accomplish this task

  • It's 50 to 1 males to females so ofc there gonna be a lot of guys on your profile

    Omg pmvines🤣🤣🤣

  • I notice an uptick in visitors after I post on the forums a bit.

  • I actually have this on my profile. "I like to read profiles so if I stop by don't be spooked." I like seeing what people write, I do not like it when people don't put anything. I think it gives us all a chance sometimes to be creative.
    Just my 2 cents

  • Hahaha @pmvines 🤣 🤣 🤣 Now I'm just going to automatically assume that whenever I get random visits 👀📌

Oh yeah! @MTex is probably right....to check out the karma you have from people you've cuddled (both innocent and nefarious reasons cuddlers "check out" karma).

Or possibly to see if they know you ....since like everyone has an uncle Dave 😁😎🤣

  • @pmvines Is that where pains have been coming from? 🤪

  • When I read karma, I usually check out the author.

  • I wonder if people get this weird in other public spaces. I typically make eye contact and observe a lot of people out and about - because I’m human, and observing my surroundings. Are people walking around thinking “omg some is looking at me, what does it mean?!”. It’s just a virtual glance on here.

@NikkiFM Weirder ... especially in the bathroom or sometimes in the store; there is always this one guy who is always looking at me wheneveri see him. If i stare ... he stares right back.

  • @RedFox16 Are you my long lost niece? Glory Hallelujah!

@pmvines , I've been skewered by you in the past, so I already suspected...

Interestingly, I haven't posted or commented in the forum area for a long time, but I guess some folks could still be reading some of those old threads and comments.

@NikkiFM I'm not paranoid, but about the only time I check out another guy's profile is if he's already looked at mine and I'm wondering why, lol. Of course, who HASN'T checked out @pmvines? He's an icon!

@UncleDave that sneaky @pmvines changes pictures often to lure you in, too

  • It’s almost certainly from karma you left on someone else’s profile.

I just hope you are not getting the creepy messages like, “hey how was [cuddler]? Let’s chat off-site cause I have some questions I can’t ask here…” 🤮

As moderators we see this a lot…

@CharlieBear I did get one of these a year or two ago. It creeped me out, and I told him that I said everything I had to say in my karma to her. He pinged me for her contact info and said she left something at his house if I recall correctly. I'm pretty sure you guys caught and deactivated him.

  • I’m never surprised at the men who visit my profile but I’m definitely surprised at the pros who book with me without looking at my profile.

I get a lot of visitors from Canada. They see the "Windsor" in my thumbnail and think it's Windsor, Ontario.

  • @NikkiFM YES, people do wonder why people look at them. All the time... Lol especially now when we all have phones to preoccupy us. Shoot people get into fights over someone looking at them or their lady in a way that makes them feel uncomfortable. It does seem silly since we all do it and if given a moment to pause, could likely come up with a million valid non weird reasons.. it does trigger our very human threat detection system when someone looks at you... Because in times gone by... Its been advantageous to also be aware of anyone who may have ill intent. Tech has evolved faster than us. I agree, it's just a glance, can even happen as you are scrolling you accidentally click on someone. It shouldn't be given much credence.

So sometimes I browse profiles at random, usually those of pros. Sometimes mistakingly multiple times because they change their profile picture and I think it’s a different person. So when I click on a profile I’m usually interested in booking with that pro but I want to read the detail, see how much karma they have, what their rates are, etc. The only time I’ll message a pro is if I have intent to book with that pro, even if it’s just for a virtual. A lot of times I won’t message though even if I am interested because I don’t currently have the capacity (usually financial). I’m sure most pros want to book something relatively soon and not six months down the road, but sometimes that’s what I have to do to make it happen, especially with pros that are not local. I’ll also revisit profiles especially with a pro I booked with just to review pertinent information written in the profile.

I think it’s sad that anyone feels the need to defend themselves for clicking on profiles that are created for the purpose of being seen and for interaction with others on the site.
The whole idea here is to be viewed!
But if you want to just be a voyeur and never get cuddles (because we know you’re lurking)…..

The following is for newer members who don’t know of easy ways to be less visible.
    Here are some simple steps:

    • Mute your account so that you’re not showing in search results,
    • Don’t post in the forum.
    • Take all your photos out also, less to look at.
(Pros are required to have a photo posted so that doesn’t apply to them.)

Otherwise we are available to be viewed.
We can only control our own behavior, not that of others.
When I want to take a break, I take the above actions.

I think it has to do with my profile pic 😆
I’m thinking of switching it though to this …
