Obvoiusly your hot and they want you!!!!
I don’t know any way to block someone without visiting their profile first.
I look at profiles for so many reasons. Mostly bc I'm forgetful AF so I need to make sure I remember who I'm talking to.
Like you ever look at the time, look away, and then realize you didn't register what time it was at all so you have to look again? I have done that with people's profiles.
But also I'm just curious. I get a profile view and the town listed could be in my state I check to see, bc my state is very rural. Most of the time it's not in my state.
Sometimes I like what someone said in a comment thread and I'm curious where they live bc I mentally keep track of the states that have good vibes from random internet comments a lot, if for some reason I ever have the resources to move.
Sometimes I don't know what someone meant in a thread and getting a vibe on their profile helps sort out what they meant by their comment.
Sometimes I just need to block someone and that's the only way. Sometimes I decide not to block someone bc based on their profile I realized I misunderstood their comment that caused me to want to block them in the first place.
Also I look at a profile before I message back. I get a lot of straight cis men who only cuddle women, in my DMs who don't understand what queer4queer, or nonbinary or intersex means, if they even read my profile.
I had someone tell me not to visit their profile unless I was interested in booking a session. Problem is, even though they're listed as being local, they're often traveling and post their schedule on their profile. So how am I suppose to know their schedule without visiting their profile?
Some sites do this - if you want to see who visits your profile, you have to allow people to see you visited their profile. Or something like that
My profile has never been viewed by a male, which is fine. This is my first post, so I'll see if that changes. I don't have any karma, haven't been able to book a session yet. As another old, fat guy who is below average in looks, I don't get many views at all. I have probably viewed every woman within 100 miles of me who hosts. I've only heard from a couple who don't host or don't live close enough. Cuddling sounds like such a great idea. I hope to become a part of this community sooner or later.
@ShyDave I checked out your profile but only to see what you were having for dinner. Be patient , take your time and you will make friends and connections. Also look at the bright side : you might be old and fat but you're not bald.
Good luck.
@CelticLullaby I totally didn't realize it at first either! 🤦🏼♀️😂 I also looked at other pros when I first started to get a feel for things and now use it predominantly to view feedback.

Oops haha wrong thread
@Sooson lol. It was a very special dinner last week with my son in Las Vegas at Hell’s Kitchen. Soooo good.
@ShyDave Ha I knew it. The legendary beef wellington. Nice.
Content!!!
I have the same issue, I’ve never had a female look at my profile x
@Soph2024 I've had female pros look at my profile, especially if I have looked at theirs. Not sure female enthusiasts need to go hunting for people to talk to, everybody comes to them.
@CelticLullaby I've "been here" FOR YEARS and just learned you could see visitors and such less than a year ago. I COMPLETELY forgot about "karma" too!
@Katota- It's what happens when others perceptions and interpretations are allowed to be taken as FACT. There's VERY little communication allowed on this site. Maybe it's less "not allowed" vs. members just not doing it, but either way, it's not happening and it causes drama- which defeats the purpose of this site.
R.I.P. D'Angelo.. A soulful, handsome singer that put in words what I could not, to a melodic tone that she loved to listen to.
You were my wing man and I will wait to hear the posthumous album and have a drink for you my guy.
This loss truly hits home
I find it puzzling why many people here seem to treat someone viewing their profile almost like an initial contact. As has others have pointed out, you often have to view someone's profile just to find out basic information, like whether they host or not. I also sometimes view profiles for completely unrelated reasons, like to see whether someone received karma from a person they had previously left karma for, or simply out of curiosity. I also don't read anything into my profile "visitors."
To me, viewing a profile is just browsing publicly available information. I don't see it as expressing interest or sending any kind of signal. I'm also not sure why the site notifies people about profile views at all and, moreover, calls it "visitors." Even with this feature and its name, though, I'm surprised by how much significance many members seem to attach to a simple profile view.
That said, I'm more than happy to be contacted by anyone for whatever reason. So if someone uses the fact that I viewed their profile as an excuse to send me a message, or as an easy conversation starter, I'm all for it.
Its normal no big deal.
From my perspective, I seen a lot of men that get upset when another man looks at their profile. I can hazard to guess why but that would be my opinion.
In regards to some of the pros, I’ve talked to over the years or come across. They will sometimes reach out if you visit them because that is the protocol, they can’t reach out first.
Years ago, I would wonder why men would visit my profile since on my profile. It says I only cuddle with women. Yet I’m pretty active intermittently on the forum so people wanna see who’s saying something sometimes. I’ve come to look at both perspectives of why someone would look at my profile. It’s basic human curiosity, but some people just think of it as them being looked at in regards to cuddling. I’ve also looked at profiles because of the picture somebody has or the profile name can make me very curious as well. There’s multiple reasons. Yet it usually comes down to whatever the person that is complaining about is projecting why the person is viewing their profile.
Forum probably has far more lurkers than people who post and probably they are mostly male. They can click on you from there out of curiosity
I love when people look at my profile, but I really love when they read it!!! Caution...click on me and I click back!!! LOL
@Bear How would they even know that you only cuddle women before looking at your profile first? I get that you can narrow your search to only include those that cuddle men, but what if they found you by a general search or some other way like by those who are "onlne" or "nearby."
I've noticed that I get allot of random profile views from people all over. I just chalk it up to them seeing something I've said in a post, and they may want to see more about what I'm about.
I look at people’s profiles all the time. It’s like scrolling on social media. I’m sure a lot of people do.
What @MindTherapy said. I just randomly click through. There's a local meetup post here and I just went down the line and looked at everyone who was attending and might be attending. Even ended up meeting and having a great conversation with someone a few states away because of it.
I'll click profiles of people posting in forums, people who visit my profile, and sometimes I'll just randomly click through profiles associated with places I'm likely to travel to for work, since I travel often and for extended periods of time... It's led to some great conversations, via messages, but I've also had a couple pros tell me I shouldn't visit their pages without the intention of booking with them, which seems a little pushy but whatever... 🤷♂️
@jaswbrown Those are the pros you'd do well to block so you never, ever darken their profiles ever ever ever again with a heinous accidental visit.
There's also a private note feature you can use to remind yourself why you blocked them. It's under the dropdown menu and under where you report. That note will only ever be visible to you and no one else.
LOOK AT ME.
That being said, I've had a few pros ask me what brought me to their profiles, asked me if anything in particular grabbed my attention, and asked if I had any questions, which I found thoughtful... 😊 I'm more than happy to help in that aspect.
