Hogan was at bar in Chicago last year promoting his beer (awful by the way, tasted like bad water) Got his autograph on our fantasy football belt. He had trouble walking. But was still a huge man.

Ever since he ratted out, Jesse the body to squash the Union I never really cared for him. He showed his true colors when he remarked about his son in law.
I've never paid for anything that he would profit from ever since about the 90s. He was a big part of my teenage years. Especially watching WWF and Saturday night main event. He's one of the last big ones left alive. It feels like an end of an era to me.
Even though I don’t care for the man, he meant a lot to a lot of people. Plus, I refuse to let his deeds gain free rent in my head because of my opinion.
I could probably comment on when I felt old with this. This definitely makes me feel old.

The anonymity of a keyboard doesn't grant a disrespectful license, no matter what your opinion of them or their history or their controversies. It's not that difficult a concept: if you have nothing nice to say about them, then don't, because some folks do want to pay their respects. As in all threads here, if the content isn't for you, then move along.

So I never met Hulk Hogan unfortunately, especially since I used to live in Tampa and heard how so many people used to run into him. He used to have a restaurant on Tampa Bay called Hogan’s Beach and it was managed by his manager Jimmy Hart, who I got to meet a couple of times.

I remember Wrestlemania 2, Hogan vs King Kong Bundy in the steel cage. I thought wrestling was real back then. I was so stressed out when Hogan was getting beat on by Bundy lol but in the end, he power slammed Bundy and Hulkamania ruled.
@Morpheus lol 6 year old wilderdude was really worried about Hogan, because he had the taped up ribs. King Kong Bundy was so scary!
I remember also being scared for the "little people" bundy faced at a different WrestleMania, i don't remember if it was 3? Where he had the mixed tag match, he and a couple little people vs hillbilly Jim and a couple of little people.

Well said @wilderdude, people take different paths in life, sometimes they go off the tracks and get back on again. A good person can see that and appreciate where we all come from.
Hogan certainly lived a life that had many ups and downs.
RIP Hulk! I was a stark raving mad Hulkamaniac when I was a kiddo back in the 80's.
