Suggested weekend itinerary (all activities OPTIONAL you can literally lay around and cuddle all weekend if you want to):
Friday 8/8 10 am-2 pm: surf boat available weather permitting (reach out to me)
Friday: 5-7 pm walk around downtown Knoxville, dinner at one of the restaurants on Market Square. Optional $5 trip up in the Sunsphere, a relic of the 1982 World’s Fair and a great vantage point to see Knoxville, UT Campus, the river and Smoky Mountains
7-9 pm Knox Box Karaoke- Gay street in Knoxville…I am looking into having the place to ourselves for an hour from 7-8. Best karaoke bar ever. Look them up to see my review!
9 pm head back to Hampton Inn and hang out and play games and pizza, snacks, beverages
Saturday 9:30 Setup at park, pavilion space is available. Everyone may bring food to share -chips, water, sub sandwiches provided. Please bring a donation to defray costs of hosting. Event lasts till 2. We will have some coolers and ice. I am thinking a big cookie cake might be in order. What should I have them put on it for a frosted message?
2 pm our time is up. Clean up and pack up 3-7:30 Pontoon outing Bring snacks/Bevs to share (rsvp and bring a donation for gas and tips), floats and life jackets provided 3-7:30 alternate activity for non-boaters (anyone want to take the lead for this?) 8 pm-? Gather at Hampton Inn for food and games
Sunday Breakfast at Hampton Inn, hugs all around🤗 Hike or some sort of activity planned by someone…any volunteers? Ha ha get it? See what I did there?

Itinerary revision: the sunsohere closes at 5 pm and is $10 pp. it opens at 9 am Saturday so if anyone has their heart set on that (it still smells to me like 1982, for some reason) I would suggest running down there on Saturday morning or after the M&G if you’re not boating. If this is a must do for you please go online and buy a ticketed time!

I am trying to get a count of how many might come to karaoke on Friday night. Knox Box Karaoke is in downtown Knoxville, and there is free parking everywhere and just such a great and easy city to go out in. I would love for everyone to see it.
I love Knox Box because they project the words to the songs on all of the TV’s in the place and then just bring the mikes to your table. So you’re not really up on the stage under the spotlight and all of your friends can sing with you. And our group will have the place to ourselves for one hour before it opens so we can kind of just be obnoxious!
