+1 to what @g_w_t_w said. The whole point of profiles on a social media site like this is to see who else is on the site and hopefully find someone you want to meet. Only way to do that is to visit profiles and read them - multiple times in some cases.

I'm old, thinning (hair wise), carrying a few extra pounds, and am otherwise average, so I can't understand why the people that visit my profile are overwhelmingly male.
Except for the thinning hair part (it is growing back little by little 😁), I too am average and don't understand why overwhelming males are constantly visiting my profile either. 🤔

I had no idea when I first joined that you could track your profile views and people could track yours on their profile. I looked at a lot of profiles of other pros several times who I thought looked cool and competent to see how they did things, and to see how Karma worked between profiles.
Later I found myself blocked by another pro and had no idea why as we had never interacted, but then learned about the page-visits section. I thought I read through everything when signing up, but either I missed the explanation on that or it’s just a “fun” thing you get to discover on your own.

Make sure you read profiles carefully. I just got back from a session with the smelliest person ever. My bad, I thought she said she was "aromantic".

@UncleDave Yeah that is extremely creepy of them to ask for contact details. I had someone name-dropping me in an off-site text to a pro saying I recommended them and then proceeded to ask for sexual extras. I never spoke to that person in my life and never had that number they used to text. Incredibly disturbing.

I always thought it was really strange when someone would agree to a session without viewing my profile but then I realized sometimes someone views it and later the view is gone. I have no idea how or why it disappears but it's odd and definitely happens so maybe it turns out they actually did view it? I'm also someone who randomly looks at profiles... Sometimes I see profiles on the main page and when I see a city I've never heard of, I'll click to see if I can guess what state it's in! So I think some of you all overthink the meaning of profile views! 😂
