Just got back from supper at a pretty decent Asian restaurant. But 30 minutes later I’m fighting off the urge to devour the “doggy bag.”
I just finished a craft project. I needed a new necklace for my Halloween costume. It turned out fairly spiffy.
(Yeah, it’s early for Halloween. I’m going to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party in a couple of weeks though and needed to update the costume I’m wearing. )

Congrats! It's extremely interesting the english words, that they take the care of translating into meaning, rather than just a word translation. Seems like some of the same words they we often have a tough time defining, on this site. grin.

Just tried a new cider I found. It's called RekorderLig and is brewed in Sweden. It's made using "Pure Swedish Spring Water". I've never seen it before, and who knows if I'll ever find it again, so I had to try it. It is absolutely delicious! http://www.rekorderlig.com/us/

Having insomnia (boo) but celebrating that my blog is back up!
I manually migrated it to a different host and the learning curve was steeper than I thought. (As in, I probably spent 40+ hours learning how to do it, screwing up, starting over... wash, rinse, repeat.) Ah, well. I learned. That’s how I learned Wordpress (from registering the domain, uploading it to hosting site, main pages), too, and now I can get a blog up and relatively functional (not necessarily pretty or optimized) in an hour or two. The first time took me 40 hours.
Live and learn! Knowledge is power. ?
@galowglass I used to kinda’ hate those shows... particularly when they had more discouraging criticism. But now I kinda’ like them. Some things I’ve seen on there have blown me away — like, chills and tears!
@UKGuy Jelly! Being part ethnically Swedish (and primarily from Scandinavian countries), PLUS cider is my preferred alcoholic drink (I really can’t stand beer) — that looks amazing! There’s a pear cider called Ace Pear Cider here, and it’s one of my faves.
@AndiCuddles -Yes I often buy the Ace Pear Cider and love that also. Wyders also does a pear cider. The Swedish one is really delicious. If you go to their website (link in previous message), you can type in your zip code and find stores that have it. They also have other flavours like Raspberry and Passionfruit, but they did not have those where I shopped.
@UKGuy Rekordelig is one of my favorites! All of their flavors are pretty delicious, though mixed berry is the undisputed winner for me and my friend Mike.

I was doing homework but now I'm checking for any recent activity of cuddlers in my area... and it looks kind of boring.
So far I've found just a couple of pros in a city 45 minutes away which is a bit of a strain; the majority in my state haven't been on the site in weeks or more... I'm not understanding the site quite yet.
@Thelie - that's really cool that you send hand-written letters to friends. Back in the 1960's I had pen-pals all over the World and we exchanged letters and photos regularly. That was long before the internet, emails and texts.

@AndiCuddles The Postal Mail is still a source of excitement and surprise. Of course today it is about 45 percent advertising and 60 percent charity solicitations, but sometimes there is a surprise. Wouldn’t it be fun to approach a new cuddling friendship by the exchange of handwritten U.S. Mail?

@AndiCuddles I had a friend, no longer with us, who lived not that far from me, with whom I exchanged postal mail periodically. Simple stuff, a joke, a news clipping, a wallpaper sample or paint chip, a coupon for her favorite Mexican restaurant or a poem- she was the poet, not me. I miss it.

12:15 pm contemplating life & showering. No sleep since 4 pm yesterday, about ready to do that now. But when working with terminal people it's hard not to see the big and little things in life so...contemplating! Unlike some I do cuddle the daylights out of my client. I can, I am the caregiver. In fact if she wasn't in a hospital bed I would be in there spooning her. I work overnights. Gonna break my heart when she finally succumbs to cancer.
@AndiCuddles I am totally down for pen pals! @Thellie & @UKGuy both of you also. Let's keep the post office in business! Besides give us a reason to go check the mail again!! Lol
