Yo cuddlers,

I was curious why there are no apps for this site?

I work in the tech world, but have never made an app. Is the reasoning to cut down on the people that would abuse the site etc?

Anyways, just thinking about this at 5am lol. I'm sure there are other tech nerds on this site so we could build a community driven app if that's something people want.

    I created an icon on my phone that brings me straight to the website. I know it isn’t the same, but it has helped. The icon has CC on it. I did it through Safari.

    I have the icon also.
    Which is nice, but it doesn’t give any notification telling me I have messages,
    It would be nice if that could be a thing.

    Also, when I use the icon from my Home Screen I dont have a back arrow at the bottom of the page - like it does if I get to the website using a recent email.

    @jillyain the web app on the phone doesn’t have the button but if you swipe left or right it will act as back or forward.

    It makes navigating easier.

    @jillyain I get notifications from my email associated with the site. Anytime someone leaves a message or if someone comments in a thread on the forum, friend request or karma. It shows as a notification on my phone.

    The topic of apps has come up time and time again. As someone said, you can search the boards.

    One tap on my home screen instantly brings up the CC home page. I get message notifications to my email. I have back and forward arrows at the bottom of the screen.
    I instantly see # of messages and list of visitors. At the top are the recently online profiles.
    I’m not tech savvy at all but my access to the site has everything that an app has.
    I just used settings and searching to get everything set up. Super easy.

    Thanks for the input ya'll. I'll check out the other posts. Was mainly tring to garner an idea as to why this site doesn't have one in 2025. The world needs more kind-hearted cuddlers <3
