I'm considering buying a tent for potential cuddling but I'm wondering, is public cuddling really a thing? I've attempted cuddling in a car with no joy. Would a tent be a good investment?
I have cuddled in a wigwam and a teepee but it was two tents.
It's absolutely a thing. Many pros on here offer public cuddling.

@cancermoon97 I don't think I'd just go out and put a tent somewhere to cuddle in public. Public outdoors to me seems more like park bench or blanket on the grass, but maybe that's just me. The movies in a lounger would be a public space.
I’ve considered buying a 2-4 person pop up tent for public/park type cuddle sessions. I think I would probably need an air mattress for comfort. My only reservation is safety. I don’t know how safe I would feel being inside a tent in a public place and not knowing/being able to see what’s going on around me. I think in theory, a tent is a great idea but consider all factors.
There are many other options though. I have had public sessions at a park on a blanket as well as a movie theater session at a theater with recliners.
@Morpheus thats a good point on the safety of what's happening around you. In theory it does sound good but I'd imagine an actual place for camping and not just a public park but I may look more into it.

I actually would not rule it out as an option. There is always someone up for a different experience.
Depends on where the tent is set up. If it were at a typical state park campground, I'd feel perfectly safe in doing this.

@cancermoon97 The impression I get is that some people feel safer having at least an initial cuddle in public rather than going to a stranger's home or letting a stranger into theirs.
@cancermoon97 If you’re really set on the idea of a tent to cuddle outdoors, look into the screen variety. They are made for setting up a table and eating and such I believe. They don’t offer privacy, but they do protect against insects. Plus, you have the ability to see your surroundings. It’s a thought.
A lovely pro has offered their extra tent to me so I guess I'm giving this a shot! @Bear i do believe it offers a screen as well.
I hadn’t known it was a thing until I’d gone on a Bumble date a few weeks ago.
Apparently in some countries (like in Latin America) people cuddle in public all the time.

Be aware of the local homelessness laws if you cuddle in a tent in a city.
Important tip: Never buy a see through tent. Those were originally intended for sale at nudist campgrounds and resorts.
I set up tents in the yards of strangers and claim squatters rights if they try to interrupt my cuddles

I was pretty shocked, but I have seen people offer a tent in their backyard as an Airbnb. Actually for rent, actually charging to sleep in a tent in their backyard. I guess they’re allowed to use the bathroom in the house or did they set up a porta potty?
And In Seoul, along the Han River, they rent couples or picnic tents. They’re so cute. You get a wagon with a tent and it has other supplies in it I think and you walk to the river’s edge to cuddle in your tent. It’s so cool. There are probably places in the US that have this too. I haven’t checked.

The elephant in the room here is not whether people will cuddle in public.
A lot of men are so touch starved, they’d cuddle anyplace that Sam-I-am would eat those green eggs.
But I think your poll needs to ask, will men pay for cuddles in a tent?
I think the answer is that few pros would be able to make enough money from tent cuddles to justify advertising it.

I would cuddle in a tent,.but not because I'm desperate. I would do if cus camping cuddles are fun. As far as paying someone for that, I don't have a dog in that fight. But I will say that a cuddle pro friend of mine @CuddlyKitKat does nature and camp cuddles as a part of what she offers where people pay to cuddle and also learn wilderness/outdoor skills and from what I've been told she has had success with folks booking for this because it's a unique thing to offer.

All the public cuddles I've done were at the movie theater and a random park cuddle since we wanted to cuddle more after the movie and it wasn't hot outside
A hammock is another option
I bought a truck bed tent and memory foam mattress for camping and I’ve been considering hosting public cuddles with it 🥰 maybe pull up to a drive in movie theater or camp on the beach 🏝️ sounds lovely 🫂💕

I’ve done several lakeside/beach cuddles in the pop up UPF tent shade and a Coleman 8 person UPF easy pop up tent.
Water, snacks, cuddles, fresh air and Mother Nature do wonders on us all.
Park behind your set up, use GoPros or old iPads can give you a self CCTV security system on a HotSpot. This creates safe perimeters & defensive space to an extent.
A huge SUV with open tailgate are nice since the air mattress fits nicely.
A few clients brought their fur baby leashed dogs 🐕 to enjoy the beach/lake.
Set up in zones not inhabited by “human agro wildlife” (no shade - it’s just part of the ecosystem now) or neglected by local county/state parks ect. Wildlife and nature are mostly safe.
For the biggest part no one cares or violates your platonic privacy because lots of other beach/lake area for everyone to share, civilly and enjoy. 😊
Staying closer to the areas to drive in and out easily is key for clients to meet you without physical or stressful ingress and egress to the cuddle site.
I’ve also snuggled in larger model Teslas ect. at charging stations. The black out window options and mattresses are very cozy.
Safety, easy walk to and from the cuddle site is the trickiest part since I have an off road vehicle but my clients might not.
Partnering with another cuddler could help watch the site if you have to fetch your client from the primary paved parking areas.

Based on your clientele - I have done beach cuddling in a half tent, tree cuddling and just regular boardwalk side walk bench cuddling. All things I have done here. Find the things your clients are open to doing and try it out
